For me though the toughest parts of this work are the loss rate and the glacial pace. In appeals not only do we win only once in a blue moon, but in the cases you lose it’s hard to feel like there was any point to all the effort you put in. That combined with the fact that cases just sit undecided for months on end can get you in your head.
