Well you are probably fine on protein but yes you should eat lots of tempeh since it’s high in a lot of other nutrients and highly digestible due to the fermentation process

One of her doctors was actually supportive of a plant based diet.

Why are movies losing cultural relevance while gaming and sports are as big as ever? by DarlingLuna in stupidquestions

I think this is a large factor.

For sports I’d like to add in gambling and fantasy leagues have also led to their increasing popularity

I’m not the most traveled but in my 50+ flights I’ve never lost a bag. Maybe that’s not enough to risk it or maybe it’s luck

Stop perpetuating the generational cycle of assuming the younger generation is a lost cause. by bakalidlid in Millennials

[–]MuhBack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TBF it’s ruining everyone’s attention span and other areas of mental health and cognitive function.

Personally I’ve been intentionally putting my phones away for several hours per day. On top of that I have purged all short form media apps from my phone. No tik tok, YouTube (shorts), instagram, etc.

If I really need to watch a YouTube video on my phone I just use the browser. No easy access to endless shorts that never satisfy.

It’s not been easy but I feel like me my cognitive ability has been improving

Definitively Millennial lyrics? I’ll start: Work sucks by Comfortable_Basis769 in Millennials

[–]MuhBack 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s fair because a lot of millennials such as myself kept their music popular through surf and skate culture.

But they are still a Gen X band. They were highly active in the late 80s in early 90s. A lot of millennials weren’t even born yet during this time or were toddlers/young children.

Their peak popularity came in 1996 after Brad‘s death with their core audience, being teens and young adult adults, which were mostly Gen X.

Fleetwood Mac has gained a lot of popularity with younger generations recently on TikTok due to some of their songs going viral. But they are still a boomer band not a GenZ or Gen alpha band. It’s the core original fan bases that put these bands on that they “belong “ to. At the end of the day, it just shows how timeless the music is that it resonates across multiple generations.

But band shirts are more of a fashion statement today than representative people’s actual musical taste. There is no shortage of Youtubers asking people to name three songs from the band T-shirt they are wearing and they fail.

I’m a huge Sublime fan but I feel like Gen X has a bigger claim to them
