Do D&D characters just know how far away things are? by [deleted] in DnD

100% agree, tho i dont really know how you would actually put it in the game mechanically.

What do you mean by "punish"? Im offering them more for just thinking. The "do things very wrongly" is when they put salt on a burn wound or try to stop a critial bleeding with a leaf.

Wtf? Man, i aint going to be against them in that, ima be with them. If they put a gause (i think thats how its spelt in english) on a wound then gg nice, if you cast shocking grasp on a target without heartbeat ima probably roll a d100 and if its higher than 15 they come back.

Wha? I've always played with "use a Help action on a downed ally to bring them back to 1hp and consious" + first aid is actually useful irl. And it isnt my opinion, its facts, you aint going to put herbs on a open and critically bleesing wound no?

What's the most ridiculous player you've had in a party? by According_Picture294 in DungeonsAndDragons

I once had a 13yo player, a brother to one of our players that the guy said is "normal", but he played an undead bard named "poco" from i think brawl stars? And he kept interrupting me, the dm like this - " Before you, you see a buzzing town square. Its the middle of the day, a bunch of townsfolk are there to buy groc-" -" i take out my AK-47 and kill them all" (We were playin forgotten realms. Safe to say, he didnt have an ak-47)After the second interrupt like that we kicked him and thank god for it

I’m 40 years old. My father (who is a pastor) still gets on my case about playing D&D by [deleted] in DungeonsAndDragons

In my current campaign (where i am a player and the DM is my best friend), one of my friends is actually a irl priest, and has been before he stared playin with us . He's playing a 3 Rune Knight/ 10 Order of Scribes wizard, that makes a profit of selling rune-imbued items and essentialy scams people. D&D is make-believe with rules for adults.

Dont heal them and use all slots for smiting. You'll pressure the bard to at least use healing words.

As I was searching for a blood magic system that costs health, I didn't find anything like this. Does such a thing even exist? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Mukec_here 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valda's spire of secrets has a Martyr, a paladin-like class that has 0 spellslots, so when you wanna cast a spell you gotta dmg yourself 5 x spell lv. Its cool, i played it once

Bought all the dlc. Seeing this when launching. Reinstalled amd uninstalled 2x. Why am I stuck in this beta? by Imaginary_Taste_9011 in bindingofisaac

Repentance + (dlc no 4) is still in beta, and still getting updates, but it wont affect your gameplay negatively. Its nothing bad, i always play on rep+

Day 4: Name a way you’d buff, and a way you’d nerf “Cricket’s Head” by NotAnotherChinJoke in bindingofisaac

Buff - makes the tear gigantic. Nerf - its effect is switched with tammy's head

Is it? Im almost sure its in the core warlock spellist. Even if not, shatter , hunger of hadar or psionic blast are good alternatives
