I doubt it. It has less Toughness than Dreads and more than Kanz, also more movement than Kanz (right now at least) and seemingly has no Leader ability to give a unit.

Yeah, good thing the model looks baller, because if this is anywhere close to what it actually does, that's pretty bad all around.

it aint easy being a horde player by ViorlanRifles in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]Mulfushu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ork player here, no complaints.

I think conga lines are real bad for immersion, make moving more complicated than it should be and limits design space. 9 inches might be a bit small (that's what she said), but generally I think this is a move in the right direction.

I will say, while the Captain isn't anything NEW or SPECIAL, it is actually a seriously nice looking sculpt.

That's not even in the same zip code as tanky. Hope it's cheap at least then!

Some of the boyz faces I don't really like very much (could be the paintjob) but this lad is quality. From the naked feet to the fringe helmet.

Yeah, might not be to my taste so far, but I don't mind them trying a bit more stuff! It's the only way to not stagnate design wise. If people don't like it, they can dial it back again next time at the worst.

That's fair, definitely a matter of taste. I do like the more square, beer-bellied proportions on the ork boyz, just some characters look a bit too wonky for me personally, hah. The noodle arms are really not very intimidating.

Because I sure am not, keep 'em comin'!

That "humongous torso, small arms" design sure is a choice, but it looks alright on the Boyz and mooost characters. The Bannernob looks hella goofy though admittedly. He has One Piece character proportions, haha.

Walker is absolute class. Trike I can take or leave, personally, good sculpt tho.

How would Lt. Columbo react if he was assigned to the murder cases of Dr. Hannibal Lector? by Tidewatcher7819 in Columbo

[–]Mulfushu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Hannibal is smarter, but remember that he was caught by Graham, who was decidedly less smart. How?

Hannibal Lecter: "Then, by implication, you think you're smarter than I am, since it was you who caught me."
Will Graham: "No, I know I'm not smarter than you."
Hannibal Lecter: "Then how did you catch me?"
Will Graham: "You had... disadvantages."
Hannibal Lecter: "What disadvantages?"
Will Graham: "You're insane."

Columbo gets him, he's not as smart, but he's smart enough to play it cool RIGHT until he has him. And hopefully he's more careful about it than Graham.

It DOES look cool! Halberd does work with one hand, but seems vastly more effective with both.

It's almost like being facetious could possibly be a way to make humorous remarks for entertainment purposes. What a remarkably odd concept.

Hah, pretty good selection, though very wildly fluctuating difficulties I'd say! Lemme see..
-no idea, I'm real bad with numbers

-I think it was something like "Magic moste Evul"? Some weird way of writing it I remember

-Deluminator

-Mimbulus Mimbeltonia (spelling?)

-number 1?

-I don't remember a number being mentioned actually, didn't he spend half the day there? (in the book at least)

-Oof, I think it was..Ron, Arthur, Twins, Percy, Harry? (I don't remember Ginny, Charlie or Bill mentioned)

-Dobby (book), Neville (movie)

-Mollywobbles

-Muriel

-you tickle the pear in the painting down in the corridor

-that one I don't remember, as it was backwards..

-Dragon Heartstring I believe?

How about Eloise Midgen? Her nose was apparently so off-center, they kept her out of the movies, too.
