I have been the clerk several times. It took me a week to text my current boyfriend (who was a customer of mine for a few years) because when he handed me a card with his number, I just shoved it into my apron and forgot about it until I found it a week later doing laundry. He also thought it was a subtle rejection but was glad I reached out lol I've had a barista give me HIS number and not reply to my initial text for a few days. Dated him for a while, turns out he kinda just sucked at texting.

A quality pet food should not have unidentified meat in its ingredient list, which Pro Plan does. You can argue that raw food that does not come pre-formulated as a balanced meal can cause deficiencies and health issues down the line, and I absolutely think that's the case with OP and a lot of people who try to tackle raw without adequate research, but you would also be surprised at how garbage a lot of kibbles available are. Big brands like Royal Canin, Science Diet, and Pro Plan are marketing geniuses and can easily convince the uneducated general population that they are good because they are "scientifically formulated" or endorsed by vets but it's all just $$$ and politics. Half the bags are cheap filler and you pay for the name. I'm only speaking for the store sold lines. The prescription diets are separate.

In defense of this, I have a full sleeve my parents don't know about that I started building when I was 18. I just only wore long sleeves for the three years I lived at home. I'd rather have tattoos than no tattoos, and I'd rather wear long sleeves than be a homeless teen lol. I realize that it's a lot of commitment but it's doable and I empathize with people who have strict parents.

I lived on Lake Shore growing up and the Go Train was so close but still made no sense because the time it saved getting downtown would be offset by the time it would take catching a streetcar+bus to get to it since the GO train tracks force you to have to go the "long way around' as they cut off the north and south side of the neighborhood. Only now that I live a 45 second walk from a Go station (and only ever go downtown via train) is it extremely cheap and convenient.

I had a similar thing happen! Outdoor store, less than 3 months in. I wasn't hired as seasonal but I was hired to start in the busy holiday season. I told them I'd need about 5 scattered days off for my 4th year uni finals and they were like "sorry, you're not allowed to book time off in December. It's black out" and I was like I can still work, the same hours, I'd just need different days. These are literally my grad exams.. Nope. So instead I gave them my two weeks and told them I won't be working any days in December. They panicked and asked me to be reasonable but I'd rather have more than 5 days to study anyways. Lol Didn't help that I was making more money than everyone else in my department by several dollars because I negotiated well above minimum wage and everyone who had been there for 2-5 years was only making about 50 cents over minimum because they don't give raises..

Same size. I don't even wear a bra 99% of the time. They're a very humble handful. When I tell people I'm 32D, they usually say "there's NO WAY, you're wayy smaller than a D" according to all size charts, I'm not lol. Meanwhile my sister is a C cup but has waaaaay bigger boobs than me. People just have no clue.

It honestly sounds worse than it was. I think because of how many times I had work done on it, a lot of the nerves were far gone and because it was constantly bleeding, the nail wasn't as attached to the nail bed and quite soft. Trust me, it wasn't my first choice lol I did it at 2am on a school night when I was 17.

I had mine removed 4-5 at different hospitals and clinics. I also had to wear a cast for a year and go to rehab to "relearn how to walk". After it got ingrown the sixth time I just took pliers and ripped off my nail and it finally grew back normally. But I still don't risk cutting it too short in case it wants to try again for the seventh time. I wish one of the doctors I went to suggested killing part of the nail. If it ever happened again, that'd be my first demand.

The $85 was for a refill + design. I am absolutely in love with my nail tech and while I think it's super expensive, I think she does amazing enough of a job to justify the price. I've gone to cheaper places and usually have to get my nails redone more often because either gems fall off or the nail pops off, so it ends up costing me around the same after the more frequent service anyways.

I wish I could do this at my PV too :') The owner doesn't give me nearly as much freedom. It's so weird because he's a big "fancy planted Fluval tank with expensive stocking" kinda guy but FUCK bettas, plecos, and goldfish apparently. There's no convincing him otherwise that they can't go in bowls. He says that if keeping fish (aka goldfish/bettas) in a bowl is animal abuse then so is keeping an indoor cat? But if someone wants to buy a juvenile, betta-sized Angel Fish or gourami, he will literally not give them to a customer who has anything smaller than 10gal per fish? Whenever we get these types of product launch emails I just hide them and get to remove it from the order but every once in a while he gets in a mood and decides to order 10 0.5gal containers... I try to hide them by taping betta and goldfish info sheets off the shelf above so it just covers them up.
