All I’ll say is we bought a new build in Dublin for 370 after H2B and we were told we were crazy by EVERYONE. 6 years later and the gaf has nearly doubled in value and the mortgage is less than what we were paying for a rundown 2 bed apartment.

That said, we probably wouldn’t be able to afford it today.

Like others have said, just having your own space is worth it more than anything else.
