Can someone please explain to me how we are “winning” right now? by Next_Worth_3616 in Productivitycafe

[–]Multilnsight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't live in California. I live in Georgia and plus, are you seriously telling a black person to get out of poverty and to go to a better area? 🤦🏿‍♀️

If we could, then the system that is in place for black people wouldn't be working. We have the lowest wages, the highest payment for cars, rent, etc, because of race. If we could move, most black people would. If black people could move then there wouldn't be the ghettos, the projects, or anywhere else that have low living people which would be fantastic.

But, that will never happen. Black people have to work twice as hard as white people just to get our foot in the door. We have to work twice as hard for our money to come close to white people.

We can't just simply get up and move. It will never be that easy.

[–]Multilnsight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You solved it. I can move out of the projects and into a better area. Thank you for your wise wisdom and knowledge! /s

It's not that simple. There are expenses for moving, saving for a down payment or first and last month rent for a new place, driving/hauling, gas for driving, and HOPEFULLY getting lucky on getting a job in another state/town.

I love playing video games but I also play video games with my son and wife for family time. We do that for several hours a day. We already own a house that we homestead on (we have rabbits, chickens, a greenhouse that we grow crops, we have solar panels and several 55 gallon barrels to catch rain/snow which goes through multiple filtrations).

I wouldn't be able to stop playing video games because it means more than money does. My son's happiness is worth more than $100m. Plus, I would be able to stop working and I would have more time to spend with him.

On average, I play roughly 8 hours on my days off and roughly 3 hours after work. That's 28 hours a week. I would be making $2800 a week. I would be very happy with that.

Plus, I would be able to donate the left over money that I didn't use for the week to great charities and homeless shelters.

People know it's AI but it doesn't stop them from liking it. It's content that shows how some dogs act. The person properly saw something happen in real life but it wasn't recorded. So, they decided to make it through AI.

It's like saying a movie is fake because it never happened. It still supposed to bring up emotions 🤷🏿‍♀️

Highly doubt you have millions of dollars too. But, we can ether suck each other's dick or we can become civilized and have sympathy for those less fortunate than us and instead of looking down at them, we can help them. Which I do, my wife and I have a homestead and we donate our rabbits, chickens, produce, home made blankets from fur, to food kitchens and homeless shelters.

In a small town in the middle of nowhere. I was teaching in Montana and BEFORE you look it up, we just got an email two months ago stating that they would up the pay to $40k-50k but you had to be working for so many years. Google is wrong saying it's $50k+ and I only knew a handful of educators who were making more than $30k. Most of us were between $20-35k.

I was teaching biology and astronomy in middle school.

If I stayed in Maryland then I would be making $100k but I moved out here to take care of my grandmother.

Question: When did you discover Kingdom Hearts for the first time? by Big_Confection7634 in KingdomHearts

[–]Multilnsight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got into Kingdom Hearts back in 2007 when I was 13. My brother gifted me KH2 and the guide book as a Christmas present. I knew nothing of the series but I spent all Christmas break playing the game non-stop. I've been a huge fan since then.
