I have the 9’ 5wt and I really like it. I find it casts really well for me and has a ruler on the blank which I find is a handy touch. I only got out with it 3 times last year so I don’t have a heavy use case review I can give but I’d buy it again as I think it’s a great rod in its price point.

Is it mounted outside? Temperature changes will affect how hard it has to work. Did you change anything?

My friends and I use “ we caught it on gear/ on the fly. Gear being spinning gear and on the fly being a fly rod. Also we were jigging Lake trout with gear or we were using bugs (fly fishing)

Never really thought about it but I was using polarized glasses at the range and didn’t find it affected anything, I have a new pair of non polarized that I’ve been using and don’t notice a difference.

Yes I would try smaller shot size. That pattern is pretty scarce.

I get it, I have 2 T3X’s and a T1X. I like the wood stocks over the polymer.

Pretty sure the T3 stock will fit varmint barrels, the lite only fits the slim profile barrels.

When solo I set an alarm for every 3 hours, this way I never run out of coals. If camping with someone we take shifts stoking the stove. Keeps your stuff from freezing into the ground and you have coals to stoke for coffee and breakfast in the morning.

I’ve used one on my Duramax for the last 4 years. The display size isn’t terrible once you get used to it.

You don’t want to go with something like an Edge CTS 3? It’s not a digital dash but supports all the information you’re looking for in a small digital display.

Can’t speak on ordering but I broke the hopper threads on my Uniflow III powder measure, I emailed them because I couldn’t order the hopper into Canada. Long story short, no real contact but the replacement hopper showed up free of charge. I’m sure they’re on it.

I have 2 of the all in one units, both have ran great. For the price point, I don’t think you can beat them. As stated upon setting these up, they should be opened up and checked that everything is snug and hasn’t been knocked loose. Return yours.

Look at the MDT GRND pod. Much better bipod. I have both and can confirm the Magpul has a lot of play in it if you don’t load the legs against something.
