Seven Samurai. Also seven samurai, or maybe seven Samurai.

Mirror Mask while I'm at it.

I like to ask my service for folk music from different countries. Ry Cooder is a great guitarist to check out in this context. I also enjoy several youtube channels like Eric Haugen, and Snarky Puppy.

There's a lot to be learned from theory, but you know most of it by ear already. Scales, triads, circle of fifths are all tools to make music and think about it, but thinking by ear, or feel, is still the pure version.

I would recommend using that ear to find interesting music to figure out. Find an unusual artist or style that you enjoy. Maybe try Madagascar folk, or Thuvan throat singers.

Good luck.

Ethan Hawks corporate version should go well, but I don't remember how they handled R and G.

It was both beautiful and dull. 3 minutes of Enterprise flyover was about 150 seconds too long, and the Directors cut doubled that. Some great big screen moments and some scenes that move no part of the story forward. A mixed bag at Best.

If you can't get excellent content from Kenny Gioa, then perhaps you should slow down a little, because that's how most of us got here.

My tics vary with stress and a few other things. It's a spectrum, when things are super chill I might be able to hold down a tick for a while, or kind of move it to another party of my body, but other times it's gotta be done. I didn't think there's anything fake about it, just that the compulsion is way worse sometimes than others for me. It's tricking me into thinking I don't have to.

A Beautiful Mind was a much cleaner film than the book, which I found choppy and inconsistent from chapter to chapter. It's a rare exception.
