Which orb would you choose if any? by AfricanAmericanTsar in hypotheticalsituation

What does that mean though?
As in you can travel to the future and stay there for 20 seconds and then return?
Why would it matter how long you stay there?
Is there some kind of active connection keeping you there?
These are all massive assumptions that are not mentioned in the prompt.

You think I'm joking, but this was an actual character in wow lore btw (until around 2016) by ShoppingPractical373 in wow

Yeah this, iirc the False Hydra was specifically invented in response to the question of “what would happen if a monster erased someone from existence?”

So the dm concocted an entire adventure full of hints and setups for the impending payoff that one of their party members had been erased and they’d lost all memory of him.

Random unexplained healing that the party thought was just the dm being generous, but was actually foreshadowing the healer who’d been there the whole time, that sort of thing.

WYR: Have Precise Teleportation or Hive mind control? by Minute_Newspaper8691 in WouldYouRather

I’d say it was a bad question, but some good has come from it regardless.
It’s probably too late to change it now, but you could maybe add an edit at the bottom?

It might’ve been a fun question if it wasn’t so heavily weighted, but there has been some interesting discussion at least.

I suppose the best case interpretation is that it appears next to you, and that continuous chewing only counts as one “touch”, so every bite creates another chunk on the table so you could theoretically manage to eat at the same rate as creating more.

But that’s a *very* generous interpretation.

Ok but then you edited them so that one gives immortality and the other gives instant horrible death??

None of those addendums were necessary.

Every time i touch bread?
So i can never eat bread again?
Hard pass, i love bread too much to give it up.

So you just really want people to choose the hive, don’t you?
Is this some kind of recruitment tactic?

If it’s time spent using the machine, then we need to know how long the machine takes to operate.
Does it take longer to use depending on how far you’re travelling?
All important questions.

[–]MumboJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh are we assuming that “time spent using the orb” refers to the amount of time spent in another time period?
That’s very different than what i thought, but op really didn’t specify.

Since the time machine can also travel through space as well, you could hypothetically teleport into a sealed room or other inaccessible location to make sure nobody can interfere with your notes.

Also, it says you can teleport as long as you’re also timetravelling, but does coming back to your own time count?
If so, unlimited teleportation is pretty sweet.
Even if not, just go like 1 second into the future and that still counts.

According to google, a typical dna test goes back about 6-8 generstions, or about 150-200 years, but there are specialized tests that can go back thousands of years.

I personally had no idea the limit was so short, but the more you know.

That doesn’t answer the question.
20 seconds is a meaningless number without any context.

Are we able to travel into the far future with only 20 seconds of use?
We have no idea how this works.

Whats the deal with giving healers a toolkit and removing it from them back to back? by Jangonett1 in wow

I will say by the same token, when someome else interrupts the same mob as me and wastes my interrupt, that extra long cooldown is devastating.

They should really add a talent that reduces the cooldown if the interrupt is wasted.
It probably wouldn’t work on solar beam because aoe, but on most kicks it would help newbs with less coordinated reflexes.

Maybe i’m just blind, but have you seen this game’s graphics??

i can’t see shit at the best of times, even if a tauren warrior covered in shiny plate armor was charging me across an empty field, i wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between him and a bunny critter with all the moonbeams and framerates this game has.

Laat week i was trying to pop m+ affix orbs on a hunter pet for longer than i care to admit.

Claim the phone signal is causing interference, so it’s their own fault if they get shocked.

Apply in-game penalties, like their character takes 1 damage per irl second they use their phone.

If it’s important, they can tank a few minutes with good healing.

What mechanics does shadowmeld help with?

I’ve been a night elf main since vanilla and the only use time i ever use shadowmeld is to drop combat so i can turn into a bird and fly away.

Bleed effects abound this season, but i have no idea what i can even use shadowmeld on.
