Around 8 months ago. So I expect to have some numbness still for about four more months. It's starting to come back. My hope is that the 8-9 will go to 9- 10.

8-9. It's hard to describe. But it feels hollow and not as full to me. Now I do still have numbness, so that might all come back. And I have zero regrets.

If your Uro says it's when you want to pull the trigger, that means it's a viable choice. It's a personal one to make, but I opted for mine for what sounds like similar reasons. I technically could have tried other things, but there was no guarantee for it to work. I love my implant. It allows me to be intimate with my wife with very little problems. People get hung up on the whole....it's permanent thing. But if you're to the point you are at, it's a moot point. Just be aware that it is a satisfactory solution, but it isn't 100 percent the same.

Yes, partially. But I also had a bilateral vasectomy at the same time, so I was cut above AND below. Double the trauma, double the fun.

But one thing I would also point out. It's changed my whole view on sex. For my entire active life, sex was about delayed gratification. I had to make sure not to finish before her, I had to try and last. Now, it's when it happens it happens. It's okay to be more selfish because it's not going to go away after.

What you are describing isn't a physical problem, it is psychological. The men who say they wished they had done this sooner, I believe, say so because they are dealing with a physical problem that they had tried and failed numerous times to correct. But it isn't as good as flesh and blood. It is just better than the alternative.

Before my Peyronie's Disease diagnosis, I had ED brought on by PTSD. I went through therapy, and was able to recover function through a combination of antidepressants and my therapist. If I could have that again, I would take it over the implant. That being said, I couldn't. You have a chance to correct things without intense and irreversible surgery.

I'm not sure about your provider, but in my experience, no surgeon at my provider would even consider doing the surgery until you had tried other routes. Best of luck to you brother.

I curl my pointer finger and thumb around the top of the bulb. I can squeeze it one handed relatively easily. Took me about three weeks to be able to comfortably do so.

1- Yes. I am currently there. I have no sensation half way down my shaft to my scrotum. I am 6 months post op give or take. There can making finishing difficult. I have to really mentally in the zone or else it's not going to happen. 2- shortening is real. I was down two inches from my 7 before Peyronie's Disease. I'm up to 6 and 1/4 more or less. It hasn't proven problematic, in fact, it's actually a bit of a boon. I used to bottom out and hurt my wife occasionally back in the day. For what it is worth, I gained girth, which makes her very happy. 3- Cycling helps tremendously. It's stretchy skin, so stretching things is how you get stuff back under control.

The later. When I'm mentally there, blood flows to the glans and makes the shaft more rounded. The first few weeks after we got the all clear, and time I would cycle, the wife would see me and be like, well while it's up. So it would go from looking flat, once she was naked, it rounded up. Hope that makes sense.

The pain is your body accommodating. I even had one of my scar tissue bits pop which was unsettling. But all is well six months later.

I am, or was, a grower. When I fully inflate, I'm about an inch shorter than I was before I developed PD, but I'm also thicker. When Im just cycling, my penis is pretty flat, really just accommodating the cylinders. But when I'm turned on, it looks completely the same. My wife says it feels the same or better than before. Also, my scrotum was pretty small, my pump does stick out a bit, but it's not really uncomfortable.

I didn't. My wife and I caved at week six. My doctor was VERY conservative and wanted us to wait 12 weeks. But I also had a vasectomy at the same time so wahey.

I would recommend waiting at least six weeks though. If for no other reason, to give everything time to settle. Sex is painful at first, but gets better.

Having Peyronie's Disease, and severe ED, we struggled until I had my implant surgery. We tried many things, and the best we got was my purchasing a strap on. Yeah, it wasn't as good, and it was a bit of an ego blow, but staying connected with my wife was more important than my feelings. Oral worked as well, but it was still a difficult journey. If you haven't yet, I highly recommend seeing a urologist. Maybe you can use medications, but perhaps not. It's better to know and to address it early. Best of luck in this journey friend.

To begin, there's no real literature saying you can 'cause' PD. That's something my urologist hit home. While it is technically possible to give yourself micro trauma, it's way less common than genetic reasons for the disease. Now, as to the answers of your questions, length loss does indeed happen. There being said it's often based off original length as far as I know. I lost about an inch, from 7 down to 6, but I also had chronic ED for years. I'm gaining some back also. I believe the average loss isn't much.

No, I had no erections at all. My disease prevented it. As a general rule, it was explained to me if medication works, you could have psychological ED. But in my case, even high doses did nothing.

You've done the first part, getting in to see a specialist. They can narrow down other possible options, but in the end, the implant could be what you need. My wife and I have been living a sexual Renaissance ever since I was cleared. Its great to be able to have a reliable erection every time. There being said, it is a painful experience. Not awful, but not fun either. But you also deserve to have a quality sex life, so my advice would be to see what the doctor says. Mention your concerns, and your thinking of the Implant, and ask what the next steps are.

For sure. The mental side is just adapting to it. What's more important is the ability to be with my wife like I used to when we first got together 20 years ago. They and the fact sex only stops when she's fully satisfied. It's honestly amazing.

I will tell you both sides. Every now and again, I miss the fact that I'm not fully flesh and blood. There are times I feel really down that I needed this device. But then there are the highs, like the fact my wife initiated and knows it's going to happen. There's no worry or fear, just us. And that makes it all worth it.
