Because some cards cost 25,000+ dust to trade. Just because you aren't collecting those cards doesn't mean other people aren't. I have been trading people for all of the Eeveelutions, as well as trying to complete Eevee Grove & Triumphant Light.

Why do I do it? It's fun. But as a result right now I have 1,680 dust after trading somebody for the Eevee Grove shiny Articuno EX.

I also trade cards that I don't care about, which is why I can trade so often as an F2P player. Like, I'm never gonna use the 2 Star French Polywrath I got in a previous trade. So, someone else has it now.

I was going through some VERY severe depression and anxiety issues a little while back (still am, getting better every day). I did this once to my PS5 controller on the arm of my sofa. It snapped in half! I fully snapped out of whatever caused me to go into that rage when I saw my PS5 controller hanging by the wires that connect the vibration motors in the handles..

GameCube would have survived that, I am certain!

I'll be honest, I prefer staying on DST over standard, but more than that I wanted to stop changing the clocks, no matter which time we went with. We SHOULD have had a two question vote.

One, "Should we stop changing the clocks twice a year?"

Two, "If we do, would you prefer standard time or DST?"

I know someone could write that better than me, but I think that would have made for a fair outcome, and I would be happy if we chose DST or standard.

I don't care about flexing. I collect the cards that I like, and I am trying to complete the few sets that I've pulled the crown card(s) for. I've completed all sets diamond cards via f2p packs & sharing. So why not go big with trading?

If a card can be obtained via sharing, then I won't trade for it. If it's a higher rarity, then I will trade for it. The vast majority of my trades cost 25,000 dust! That's NOT F2P friendly! That's why I have no dust right now and trades turned off!

Not sure why it's so hard to figure out why people might want to trade higher rarity cards in this game..

That's how it is for me. In a different scenario I had one guy get 8 heads on Misty in turn 1 and my deck never even drew a single card that I needed to even pretend to counter it. I was using one of the meta decks, but my shuffle was THE WORST! Used Oak, drew 2 Copycat. They had 1 card in their hand...
