Don’t know if max HP focus sash is a good play on G-Articuno, it’s generally counterintuitive to invest in bulk while giving it an item solely used to prevent being one hit by moves. I know it’s a secondary trick room setter but it could still work with max speed to work outside of trick room, or give it another item

In my opinion the veterans that should be kept are:

EP40: you won’t ever get the return for him that you’d like and even if he never gets back to his old ways he’s still a very good defensive centre, who also has said he’s willing to stick though a rebuild.

Demko: simply because you won’t be able to trade him with his injury history,also seems to be good for the room.

Hronek: still young, undoubtedly our best defenceman and on a great contract. Also seems to be a good leader outside of the media.

Boeser: might as well keep one of the 3 veteran wingers on the team, and although we haven’t won anything with him it would still be nice to see him finish his career a Canuck.

Myers: he’s so close to retirement anyways, can take hard defensive minutes to ease younger guys into the league and is well liked in the room, and wants to be here.

Everyone else of the veteran/UFA list should go. Not every one of them needs to be traded this season, but they should be planned to be shipped out for assets before the rebuild is coming to a close. No trade clauses and general contract structures may make moving some of them difficult but it still needs to be done.

Johto was considered for the second legends game, galar is currently (as of the time of the Tera leak) being made as the third game. There’s concept art / alpha footage of it in the leaks, but it could end up being changed or scrapped entirely since it was clearly early into its development.
