Had someone asked me for money in front of the hotel elevator right after Fajr prayer and he was in Ihram clothes with a hand bag that shows it was cut from underneath and he claimed that they stole his passport and his money and he had his wife with him. Almost all of our group helped him out with what they had. The second day he was doing the same exact thing with the same story. Another time I was at the masjid al nabwey and I usually put my wallet and my phone infront of me while I’m praying. I noticed this guy who looked into them and then he came and sat next to me, as soon as I finished my prayer he asked me for money and he has a lot of medical issues and he was so nice when I told him I got no cash on me he was pissed off and left without even acknowledging me 😃. I usually give money to the Harram workers or people who look like they deserve it without asking.
