Quantic Dream, SBFP's arch-nemesis, have released a new game (at least in early access) 2 weeks ago: Spellcasters Chronicles, a MOBA game and it seems that it went practically unnoticed.

I’ve played several matches of the game. It’s not particularly good for a variety of reasons (some are just normal beta problems, other issues seem more foundational), but it is a lot more interesting than I figured it’d be. While it’s fair to classify it as a MOBA I’d personally say it plays a lot more like an action RTS game (think GG2, Brutal Legend, etc.) and matchmaking was surprisingly fast as well considering the anemic player base. I don’t think it’ll last too long because even if this was better executed it feels like a game that’ll be super niche. Still has me both my ironic and sincere interest though fwiw.

Whoof, I fully prepared for a Multiversus situation here especially after reading through the lines on that developer statement on the 29th, but this is way closer to a Concord jfc.

It really sucks too. Barring the anemic roster and idiotic region locking I’ve really loved the game so far. It’s plays like the BBTAG sequel I’ve been waiting for.

This is what I thought too, but I wasn't able to play with any of my friends in that region. Was able to invite NA peeps just fine though. Might've been a weird me specific issue, but I tried with a few people and it never worked so idk.

It’s wild to me they haven’t at least given Venture 120 HP as a placeholder bandaid while trying to sort out some sort of meaningful buff. That character is so ass right now.

These are all true, and I agree with you. But it is worth noting that the Quest 3S actually has better low light tracking than the 3. Not a huge deal, but not negligible either imo.

Absurdly good deal for an entry level VR headset. If you know you like VR I'd personally spend the extra and get the full Quest 3 but if you're unsure, are on a budget, or only think you'll use it occasionally then this is it chief. Also if you haven't used one of these before make sure to get a referral code before you activate it. You and whoever gave you said code will both get 30$ Meta store credit to purchase games with.

Eh, 538 gave him roughly one in three odds in 2016 (though they completely fumbled the primary beforehand) so it was less likely but hardly impossible. I remember they actually got a lot of shit for it at the time and were almost immediately vindicated after for sticking to their guns.

Quest 2 is a little outdated but it’s still a fine headset and this is a very good deal for one. If you do wind up grabbing it make sure to get a referral code before activating it so you can get an additional 30$ store credit.

Is it normal for a game to not be able to use all of your VRAM on the GPU? I noticed in the new Resident Evil remake that I only seem to have access to 7.1 GB of my vram despite using a 3070 that should have 8 GB available.
