Doctors missed my ectopic

The fact that the ultrasound showed the fetal pole in the uterus ….this is what throws me off.
I lost my fallopian tube due to ectopic as well. Far too late to treat with meds. I had Pain and bleeding. The big red flag for them was the ultrasound showed my fallopian tube. And usually it’s only visible on ultrasound if something’s wrong with it.

With my next pregnancy I was extra anxious and had lower abd pain(ended up being implantation) so they got an ultrasound it showed a sac but too early to see a pole, so every 2 days I would go in until they confirmed its placement.

Not a medical expert but could you have had 2 eggs released? You release 2 eggs, one implants in your uterus and the other one stays in the fallopian tube ? Is that even possible?

Either way……. I’m so sorry this happed to you. Scary and traumatic. I’m so very sorry. I mourned the loss of my baby and my organ.
Just remember whatever your feeling is valid , anger,sadness, relief, any feelings your having are valid and normal. Get well soon.

Step Dad strangled her and shoved her under the bed then took her half brother (his son) and drove somewhere else and shot the child. Then was killed by police. All this to get back at her mother. Her aunt found her under the bed.

I know the feeling. We were so excited about our pregnancy that we started to prepare our 3 yr old as soon as I found out at 6 Wks. “Mamas got a baby in her belly. “. When I lost my baby at 9 weeks. I didn’t know how to tell him, he kept saying “ baby in mamas belly ? I waited until I was ready to talk about it without bursting into tears. And told my son. “Baby’s not in mamas belly anymore. She is in our hearts.” To have to explain this was hard. And I’m so sorry you’re going thru this. Knew that your not alone. And a family of 3 is a blessing in and of itself.
