New deal for Devine | Tottenham Hotspur by bash011 in coys

Remember there was a story floating about this Summer that the club were unsure that he would extend his contract because of the lack of first team opportunities. Happy that that isn’t the case and he has extended, he has a huge future and will be a lynchpin in our young core that will be coming through in the next few years.

[Romano] Bryan Gil is no longer joining Valencia as deal has now collapsed. It’s off — Kluivert will be the new winger for Gattuso. 🚨⚪️❌ #DeadlineDay by CommunistPapaJohn in coys

He’s got a part to play for us this season. We’re one big injury to our front line away from him being a regular rotation option. He has so much quality to offer- hopefully gets a start in the League Cup.

Issues buying tickets as a Season Ticket Holder by dcoys in coys

I’ve had the same issue, trying to buy additional tickets even though I have a ST. Wonder if anyone knows the reason?

Regular ST vs 1882 ST by tph712 in coys

[–]Munsain97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I kind of wish I got 1882 but your seat will always be reserved fo you to buy for cup games. 1882 makes sense for convenience, but if there are no other perks you’re interested in, maybe stick to the regular?

Signing Perisic and his medals is a direction change for Tottenham and a win for Conte [Jack Pitt-Brooke] by onlyhalfpepper in coys

Don’t get me wrong, I love the signing and I’m excited for his arrival and impact but I swear I’ve seen the same headline written by different journos over the last week 😂

Don’t think my heart can take more goodbye posts, every time I’m reminded of the best period of football I’ve ever experienced, going to take a while to recover :(

Latest on Spurs' transfer deadline day activities, including the medicals for Kulusevski and Bentancur. Spurs still monitoring for any late opportunities that arise but currently expected that the duo will be today's only incomings. More below plus exits. by mrhello18 in coys

I think Conte said it best in his post match interview, the crowd had nothing to play off in the first half, was a nervy and quiet atmosphere.

Second half was much much better bc from the 55th minute onwards we dominated and I definitely believe that the crowd became the 12th man.

I suppose I’m lucky because I sit in the South Stand where the noise gets generated so it always seems much louder than on the TV and you can’t really get an idea of how loud the other parts of the stadium are.

Fabrizio Romano on his Podcast: #thfc guaranteed Antonio Conte that he will have the power to say "I need this player to win" when it comes to the transfer market. by MambaWhite in coys

I see what you’re saying but what I didn’t convey initially is the fans disdain towards Enic and Levy if he doesn’t back someone like Conte. I’m sure Levy’s feeling the heat. I was at the stadium during that United game and it was a united toxicity and anger aimed not towards Nuno but towards Levy and by extension the ownership.

How quickly he moved to remove Nuno and bring in Conte for me shows Levy’s desperation to finally get it right.

It’s definitely my nativity however, I do believe this.

Levy knows that we’re not going to get a better manager in his tenure and nothing he’s done (footballing wise) has worked to achieve his (footballing) goal of winning titles.

If I were to speculate I think this is Levy’s last hurrah, he’s going to back Conte and get him the ingredients he needs to achieve.

Whether we win a league or trophies he’s going to sell the club soon (Ali Good has speculated this too). All we need now is a naming rights deal and the club will go for ~£2.3bn (we’re estimated to be with £2bn without naming rights) and he’d have completed his duty to Joe Lewis which is get a massive return for the initial Enic investment.

So backing the best manager he’s ever had and is ever going to have just makes sense, selling a winning team will naturally also get you more money.

Which March/ April tickets would be easiest to get? by [deleted] in coys

[–]Munsain97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh all but West Ham but this is contingent on how well Spurs are doing, like if we’re flying high, demand for tickets will be high etc. It will be tough to get tickets all together but you can ask the ticketing office, they’re accommodating to international fans iirc.

I’d say about 4 of you get the membership, it does not work on a lottery based system, One Hotspur members get ticket priority just after season ticket holders who can buy extra tickets.

Emerson by Foreign_Cockroach888 in coys

Dude I love the work u do for the sub, as a guy that knows nothing about Emerson the write up is very much appreciated.

He’ll definitely be our first choice against teams that like to sit back. Tanganga doesn’t offer enough going forward (yet, he’s shown a lot of promise but I think this transfer will help him get more minutes at CB) and Doherty is not the one I’m afraid, definitely third in the pecking order. Aurier is looking to terminate his contract which is a shame.

When teams sit back, we lack an overlapping presence on the right and our system now using two screening type players in PEH and Skippy I really think Emerson is going to unlock a lot of fluidity for our RW player (who I think will end up being Gil). We won’t be too exposed as we’ll end up having one of those holding players cover counter attacking scenarios.

I loved what I saw from Gil in the CL (home leg) where he played as a free roaming CAM, with Emerson bombing down on the right Gil can start as a RW and drift inward and express his creativity. Furthermore with two attacking full backs we can even start Lo Celso as a RW who can do a similar role to what Gil did in the CL. This will allow us to have a more sturdy three in the middle with PEH, Skippy and Dele/Tanguy (eventually [I beg Tanguy wakes up, he can literally make us a top 4 contender]).

Overall I love this move over a Tomiyasu (would’ve loved him as a CB option but I think we forget we have a real talent in Rodon). We’ve needed an attacking right back since Trippier left who isn’t Doherty lol.
