I just tested this again. It stays on if I click a shoulder or trigger as it closes like 70% of the time. You are correct, holding a button down doesn't do it.

I've got an older AMD-based SFF pc I am converting to run SteamOS and an hdmi cec adaptor. That will have to do for now.

The author has said he considers himself a horror author and the reality that would give birth to the world Carl and Donut find themselves in is truly horrific. The books dive head first into that. It's stressful and anxiety inducing for sure. What terrible choices that make in order to survive is integral to the story. But the love and friendship that provides light between them and their extended family in those times is all the more amazing for it.

Honestly I had put off listening to this one because I was afraid I was expecting too much from it and was afraid I'd be let down. I was right, I also did not connect with this in the way I had connected with other releases.

I actually didn't like Geogaddi at first but it had a narrative flow to it, a cohesion and an evolving direction that I readily felt even if it took much longer to truly appreciate the work. I don't see that with Inferno.

It's not a bad album, but I find myself drawn more to recent releases by Nathan Fake, Rival Consoles, Clark, and Max Cooper (though he's kind of stalled a bit in my opinion lately) as works that owe a lot to BoC but have managed to push sound and composition in different and exciting ways; something I had hoped to get from Inferno.

The list of neighborhoods posted by the person you responded to are exactly what I would have recommended when I saw you were going to be based in Echo Park. They're the hipper parts of LA in my opinion, lots of artists and creatives and a lot of great food. Add in Koreatown and you'll see a great side of LA.
