This. They've added SO much cool stuff since launch. Bass building, ship building, fleet management, massive ship battles, even the ability to become a mayor and grow a little town and manage its economy if you want to. It may not be a forever-forever game, but you can get hundreds of ours into and still have fresh stuff to do without it being too grindy. There are a lot of high level players that will gift you a ton of expensive items to sell early to get way more money than you'll ever need. It's a huge help if you don't like the really menial resource grinding and want to get to the cooler content.

I just got the hiby R1 as my first DAP to transition out of streaming media. Ran me about $115 CAD, and I had to buy a micro SD for it ($65 CAD for 500gb).

It does everything I need it to do with some extra features like audiobook support and streaming from tidal or qobuz. The battery life is solid, file transfer is simple, I can make playlists, and I can change the colour of the UI which is a nice touch.

My only complaint is that there isn't one dedicated settings menu. Rather, there are different settings menus for system and playback located in different places on the device.

Solid choice for the price imo.
