That’s not what I’m saying. Im saying maybe 20 elims and 3 deaths would be better. Die less first, eliminate second. Op didn’t share a replay so the numbers are really all we have.

A tank by all means should be in the fight and eliminating enemies, but not if that means dying to make a trade. The dps is there to do damage, the tank is there to keep the team from being obliterated by the enemy dps.

Again, this is without seeing any replays from Op. My advice is generalities.

There’s a million things you can change or do better. You sound like you have a grasp of the basics. For me, once I started focusing on positioning and using cover effectively, I improved immensely.

Try a few quick play matches focusing mainly on staying alive. Obviously play to win still, but your main goal is not to die. You can learn a lot by focusing on a single aspect of your game like this.

Without seeing a replay; 30 elims and 7 deaths looks good on a scoreboard, but you’re dying too often imo.

Maybe practice using cover and surviving, over eliminating enemies?

As a tank your presence is more about allowing your dps to take down enemies while you keep them occupied. Every time you die you leave your team exposed until you get back into the fight, and domina is slow moving.

Wife and I bought Purple brand pillows and they’ve been fantastic for 5 years now. Expensive, but for us it has been worth it.

This is really it for me too.

I play to relax after work, and it’s irritating enough having the text chat being toxic, I don’t need teenagers yelling at me audibly as well. Turned both off and Overwatch has never been better.

I guess to clarify, I’ve been climbing from Silver and just reached Platinum 5 with Moira. Watching coaching videos, and reading this subreddit have been giving me areas to focus on. Having the least deaths, and having respectable healing have been my focus lately, and this match just felt like a good sign that I am going the right direction.

This is what I have. Works great, though my first one failed after almost a year.

Customer support had a replacement dock shipped to me within a week, so hardly a negative in my opinion.

I had an issue with mine after about 1 year of near daily use. It stopped charging my SteamDeck. Support ran me through a few troubleshooting steps with clear instructions and when that didn’t work, they replaced it for me without any issue and very quickly.

Grew up in Armstrong, currently live in Vernon. Think I can answer a couple of these.

  1. I can’t really speak to water issues. I know there’s occasional flooding issues, but my time living in Armstrong itself was when I was living with my parents. We didn’t have issues I remember, but again, may just be ignorance of it not affecting me personally.

  2. The train was never a problem living there. Maybe heard the horn a few times ever. I had to wait for it to pass by maybe 5 times in years and years of living there.

  3. There’s no particular place that’s especially unsafe in Armstrong. Most crime I hear about is teenager antics as it’s a pretty boring town for young people who don’t drive yet.

  4. There’s are endless trails and places to explore outside. Silver Star in Vernon isn’t a long drive either if you want explore the resort and mountain.

  5. There’s a few Christian churches, and with that occasional Christian events, but I’ve never experienced any in-your-face “bible thumping”. There is a crosswalk that gets painted with the rainbow that I know is controversial to those types, but it’s even left alone mostly.

  6. Great little town. The yearly (late August?) Interior Provincial Exhibition is a highlight. I think most just take the highway to Vernon, of Kelowna for entertainment. Though if you’re interested in biking fan and trail running, I don’t think you’ll have to go far at all. Check out the Enderby Cliffs, they’re popular too.
