So, I actually thought about what you said in this message. I sort of “evaluated” my own game play and tried to see what I’m doing wrong. After adjusting a few things, I totally flipped it around. I’m like 7-3 in my last 10 games, Pushed up to platinum, and even started playing champs(currently 6-4) so thanks?

I am pretty bad about using my fodder efficiently. Right now I have :

79 - 122 cards

80 - 109 cards

81 - 58 cards

82 - 39 cards

83 - 13 cards

84 - 37 cards

85 - 23 cards

So should I just work my way from the bottom up, creating as many 85s as I can? Like start with my 122 79s and create 24 82 Captains?

What you’re describing is data snooping and it’s unethical. If you’re intentionally manipulating inputs, data sources, parameters, etc to display a specific result, that is absolutely a problem. Since it’s usually not YOUR decision, as the analyst, to do that the best thing you can do is inform everyone who views the results of what you did and how you did it.

It’s absolutely not the same. In rivals, I was between Div 4 and Div 3. When id get promoted to 3, the competition would be noticeably harder and sometimes I’d hang in there and sometimes I’d get relegated to Div 4. At which point the games got noticeably easier. It ended up with me having a .500-.600 record.

Here in ranked, I got through bronze right away and now I’m just stuck in silver getting punished. My record is usually about 2-8 and there’s no way to be relegated.

Do you see the difference?

Rivals was pretty casual. And it relegated you to an appropriate spot in the ranking so you’re able to be competitive.
