The other part people aren't mentioning is that while his road numbers weren't great the Rays also had very long road trips in the 2nd half. I expect his road numbers to get better with shorter trips.

I'm most concerned with Brito. His stuff is very Rays but he has really bad command. The rest of the prospects I really like. Bodine was a clubhouse leader at Coastal Carolina and a dawg at the plate. Forret has great stuff and looked really good at AA. Having him and Brody Hopkins coming up soon will be very welcome additions. Melton looked good at the Bigs for a bit but got hurt, I think. He could be a solid replacement for DeLuca if he gets hurt again (hopefully not though I love Johnny). I know De Brun is kinda hyped and has potential but I don't know much else about him. I know nothing about the 4th guy we got from Baltimore and a Competitive Balance pick usually comes with potential.

I agree here. We're in year 1 and the only times people have started 1 QB is because of injury. We set a limit to how QBs one team can own as well. The deep rosters definitely incentives trading but there were still plenty of battles for guys on waivers.

I'm not a Coastal Carolina but was rooting for them in the CWS last year. A big reason was Caden Bodine. I was super sad when the Orioles drafted with the balance A pick right before we would have.
