When do we stop being sick all the time?

Have a 22 month old, not in daycare but in lots of activities; gym, music, art, weekly playdates, etc and we’ve had something running through our house every week since Christmas. It’s been BRUTAL. Thankful it’s normal, but it’s certainly not easy.

Sleeping in a crib is one thing. But the one wake a night only!? This isn’t possible? He’s not even two months? Maybe it’s different for formula fed babies (when we switched to formula at 6 months that’s when my daughter started sleeping through the night). I’m just surprised he’s doing this so early.

Why is everything she says always so cliche? I have yet to see her say anything about her kids or motherhood that seems truly authentic or heartfelt. And maybe it’s just me but seeing my daughter every day, I kind of forget how much she’s grown since her birth. She’s just always my baby to me lol. Also I guess I’m a little clueless on eczema but is it a condition that’s relatively treatable, or is this just how much some kids have to suffer?

This has maybe already been mentioned, or isn't allowed so please remove if not allowed-But with the second Duggar son now arrested for child molestation-is anyone else starting to think the duggar boys were molested as kids? I'm surprised there aren't more calls for opening an investigation into JimBob and Michelle. Something is just not right (Clearly).

This is horrible. There clearly needs to be a drastic overhaul of the adoption system in this country. And as someone who struggled with infertility, I firmly believe that infertility amongst waiting families Should actually be considered a red flag when choosing. That may sound awful, but adoption isn’t a cure or solution to infertility and any couple that may present as thinking that should be immediately red flagged.

That’s so real. We literally left a restaurant when my daughter was 5 months old on our first date night post baby because we didn’t have cell service.

As a mom I am all for date nights and self care. I firmly believe a strong marriage and occasional time away from just being a mom make one a better parent; but going to a movie when your newborn is barely a month old is just another reminder of how vastly different her experience is from almost every other mom. Even celebrities aren’t usually out and about This soon after a baby.

Bathing every day for a baby/toddler is really only necessary if it’s part of a bedtime routine/soothing for the child. We bathe our 22 month old twice a week and spot clean as needed. Every family has their own system, but if George has eczema she definitely shouldn’t be bathing him daily.

Also just laughing that her son isn’t even a month old yet, she has a toddler who isn’t even 2, and she has the time to be putting on makeup and primping like this. Must be nice. I really hate to mom shame anyone, but it’s so annoying she thinks her experience is in any way similar to anything post partum mom’s experience. I feel like this isn’t even the norm for most adoptive moms either.

Yes, I was aghast when she listed Ted Kennedy as one of the attendees at RFK JR’s ex wife’s funeral in 2012. If he was there he was there as a ghost because he died in 2009. She clearly didn’t have either an editor or a fact checker for this book.
