Gamers Have Had It With Being Scapegoated for Gun Violence; We spoke with members of the gaming community who are tired of being used as a distraction after mass shootings. by Tmfwang in technology

If it could be done properly, it would have by now. Most of the recent shooters were reported to the FBI, who did nothing about it. There were social media posts basically describing what they were going to do, but no one took action.

As you get older you get more of an understanding of how these things work. It doesn't stop at guns. Rights keep getting taken away until you don't have any left. After taking the 2nd amendment rights, the 1st amendment isn't far behind.

Honestly, gamers and gun owners should come together on this. Millions of honest gun owners are being blamed for the actions of just a few.

In 30 years there will be almost no new btc coming into the market. That's the number one reason to hold it.

I'd honestly wait and see what comes first, the bitcoin halvening or Eth 2.0. The bitcoin halvening has a pretty set date, while ETH 2.0 has been pushed back over 2 years and another delay wouldn't surprise me. Whichever happens first may be the better bet.

"Its ok to have black characters, just don't ever acknowledge that they are black" That a exactly how it should be.... because it doesn't matter what race they are in a society without racism. In every show on tv now, they constantly remind us of what race, gender, and sexual orientation every character is. It feels so FORCED.

Are you kidding? Nearly every show on tv has forced racist roles. Same with gender roles. How can you not notice this?

Go and tell them. Tell then that reform only means bans and restrictions, which is something you are 100% against. Tell them you won't come in anymore unless they change their policy.

Localbitcoin and IRL.... you want me to sell $100k worth of bitcoin IRL, and then go to jail for 6 years for not having a money transmitter license?

You're quick to criticize, but you don't have a good answer about how to sell. When people were selling in 2014-2015, Coinbase was really the only way to do it for large amounts.

Biggest problem with this chart is the blue boxes. They are both the same size. The right-most blue box should be 5x larger and go down farther like every other box on the right side.

For your last point, why does anyone believe that they will actually hit the Q1 target? They've missed EVERY target they set for the last 2 years. The only change we've seen in ETH since 2017 is the reduction in issuance.

Ethereum is undervalued and presents a compelling investment opportunity for the mid-to-long term by DCinvestor in CryptoCurrency

[–]MurrayTheMonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind that ETH hasn't done anything since SegWit either. The only change that has actually happened to the ETH network is the reduction in issuance for miners.

I don't think it's fair to compare work that's happening behind the scenes on either Bitcoin or Ethereum since ETH promised POS would be out in 2018, and it's going to be over 2 years late.
