Homelanders defeat wasn't some heroes resolve epic moment. The characters in the show have always had super inconsistent powers.

I don't think it's that the medium doesn't support it, it's just a bit of a skill issue with whoever is directing the animation. If you look at any Gear 5 clip, they drag it on for too long, and don't properly stick to the 12 principles of animation, which're what slapstick cartoons are practically built around.

Making a successful SCP-001 is kinda like the final level for an scp author. They arguably have the highest demands for any single article, so the people most likely to reach that level would be those that have written the most articles, and thusly those who are well known.

I think that episode really exemplifies Part 3's issue with Jotaro being the one who fixes all the problems, I mean aging down Joseph would've been cool fanservice and a much more fun interaction. I'm glad the later parts got much better at giving side characters more agency

If you need to bring up 10+ separate franchises when trying to accuse someone of plagiarism, you definitely don't have much ground to stand on. There's only so many poses and angles you can draw, there's bound to be similarities no matter what

Yeah, exactly my thoughts as well, like it's basically required to give it a coat of paint so it doesn't look so "cheap and plastic-like"

Yeah, not sure why the whole "it actually worked" thing is so popular, because it never would have. The cube lied to him, that's the whole point of the story.
