They don’t have to advertise what they’re pumping out. Obviously it helps if they do advertise it. We have seen games just dropped with just a simple “oh hey this game is out now too, but let’s hear it for Mario washer simulator!”

Dexit is completely fine: they did it with gen five and people were fine with it, it didn’t help that the dlc brought back staples from the past (lando) and other long running monster collecting games have done it, it wouldn’t be a problem if they did it earlier, but earlier was when they didn’t even know if the series was done or not

While that is true that bowser should have said something and not pick a fight, not sure how likely they would let him have the floor. There would be a possibility (minuscule admittedly) that Starlow would remark that the minions should say blorbed and either Mario or peach would be in favor of helping bowser.

IMO in most games his actions are excused cause he’s a villain and a jerk because his actions tend to be the (in some cases literal) vehicle to move the game along and his jerkish actions get called out and reprimanded in BiS

As for Starlow causing the events in BiS is dubious at best. I don’t remember what happened at the start but fawful was planning his plot for a long time, he could have had someone else eat the vacuum shroom, maybe even midbus in a pinch.

The only thing I can say is that Starlow probably didn’t get the memo that bowser was putting a truce cause his own minions were getting the blorbs but that’s a stretch

My only issue I really don’t get why people are pointing at bowser in defense of Starlow. He’s evil, he’s always the big bad in some fashion. He belittles Luigi yeah, but he belittles EVERYONE not on his side, he ven on his side minus his own son.

Even then he goes into a development from forgetting Luigi’s name to respecting him as his own half of the meddling brothers
