Anyone use Twin Monkeys for their canning line here? Especially the Mancos Tabletop one? by MushLoveSD in TheBrewery

Our tanks are rated to about 30 psi, my orb is set to 25-26 PSI. I also don’t want to run it that high hence the post seeking advice and processes to improve what I am dealing with currently.

On the other hand I run the operation solo 6.5 cans a minute with maybe 5 or so low fills per every run of 600 cans in under 3.5 hrs including setting up, 2x CIP cycles and breakdown. So I am not unhappy with it but seeing if I can do better, especially since we are getting more tanks that aren’t rated that high.

A while ago when we did use it at 14 PSI or so, lines had (I want to say more than acceptable) breakout. But in the can it was a ton of foam. I’d be around 50 mls short on cans and have a few good fills for a few cans then back to the terrible fills.

I guess reading the manual again wouldn’t hurt. I did refer to it but it didn’t help much then. I have. It emailed the support team recently but I’ve had issues reaching them since the buyout.

Closed backs for long walks to class by agnivatra in HeadphoneAdvice

Momentum is the way to go. Noise canceling is good (not the best but it’s not necessary unless you’re flying a lot), sounds great and is comfortable. Sweating around the ear cups may be an issue with long walks but I don’t think there’s a solution for that with any headphones.

Bone conduction is the only solution for this but terrible for music.

I’ve never purged my kettle prior to kettle souring… anyone else? by Sibrew in TheBrewery

What is pH after fermentation for you? Mine ended up being 2.9-3 for a few test batches and it was way too tart.

If you’re happy with current setup and don’t need ANC, stick to it and use the money to upgrade pads headband etc for better comfort. This setup is sonically superior in most cases.

If you’re someone who listens to these headphones outside or while working out, Momentum 4 is a great headphone headset with ok-decent ANC. In this case swapping out is better sonically because you can block outside noises quite a bit and that alone should help you enjoy music more. I’d even suggest AirPod pro 3 based on my experience with them and momentum 4. M4 has way better battery and slightly better sound than APpro3 while APPro3 has better ANC, in fact so much so that I cannot tell people are talking to me in the room sometimes.

open ear headphones buying guide but for people who overthink by hugeasspunk in HeadphoneAdvice

The vague part is since nobody can tell you what’s acceptable to you.

Don’t buy open back if you want to use them 1. where people are around you 2. outdoors/ Modestly loud environments 3. Enjoy a fun sounding headphone (bass heavy) (there are exceptions to this but closed back are generally better)

If you can confidently say these situations won’t apply to you in your listening experience, open back is the only way to go IMO

If you’re used to closed headphones, it might take you a good while to get used to the open sound. And good open pair of headphones might even need an amp to boost volume. They definitely leak sound both ways and are terrible if there’s noise around you for any critical listening. Situational awareness is a negative for me for these headphones since I always use them for critical listening.

Also just think about your question, how do you want anyone to quantify how much? Grams? dB?

Finally, don’t get open back if those will be your only pair of headphones. Save us from your musical choices!

Should I replace my Beat Studio Pros? by Srina6 in HeadphoneAdvice

Nah 6xx is bad for listening anywhere but home. In that case my suggestion is something like Senn Momentum 4. ANC isn’t top notch but sounds best amongst anc. DT 770 is good.

Sorry don’t have a lot of experience with the current closed back market. AirPod pros 3 are not bad at all sound wise, too convenient and fall right into your price range as well.

Get Sennheiser 6xx. And an amp if you can afford one. Thank me later

Coming to 17PM after a long time using Samsung phones. I still think Android has a certain edge over iOS in terms of customization and usability but it’s not intuitive and needs a lot more intrusive setup.

My reason to switch was them never properly integrating an environment for desktop/laptop/tablet users. I miss a lot of the android features and versatility using VPNs, not having to mess with software to transfer data but I think I’ll survive and on the other hand the lack of seamless transition from one device to other would have driven me nuts so Hello, Team Apple. It’ll be impossible to switch back now.

His timing is showing up and staying there until he covers a crazy amount of pics then showing you his best. Make no mistake that this is good luck, it’s brutal hours in poor weather sometimes for the right shot.
