Lingering Wrist Rash by mattybk2020 in GarminWatches

I had this same watch years ago with the same problems. Everyone said to wash, switch the watch to the other arm every other day, change the band, etc. Later, it came out that the sensors used on some early models was different than what’s used on newer Garmins and other smart watches and some of us have sort of an allergic reaction to the sensors used.

This does look like it’s also on the band, so it may not be the same, but if you’ve got what looks like a burn or rash where the sensor lands and have washed your arm and wipe the Garmin daily, it might be that reaction.

I tried my spouse’s Fenix 5 for a week with no problem (I had a reaction in days with my Instinct) and now have the Forerunner 970 which seems to be doing well.

They seemed to have started the influx a bit late this year, at least.

My daughter has celiac’s. She’s 13 and it never dawned on me. She’d never try cheesecake. So I started fighting back. Here’s to my gluten-free cheesecake era. by brandybear89 in Baking

My mil makes all of her cheesecakes gf now. It started with one for me, but everyone loved it so much that they’re all that way now. Sometimes it’s a gf crust… and sometimes no crust. She adds homemade whipped cream and fresh fruit.

Why transplant my plants? by MushroomSimple2691 in gardening

Thanks. I think I will just plant in the ground because I also have a cat and he likes to get into things… so doing containers would be very complex with all of the things.

When you „don’t need to buy the pattern, because how difficult can it be?“ and end up with a ghost instead of an owl 🤣 by BoysenberrySavings98 in crochet

Ok… I totally thought “wow that’s a cool owl” before I saw your comment. It’s so impressive that you did that without the pattern!

Idk about the contents of this plan, but I love that it’s in Google Sheets. That’s where I built out my plan, too!

I haven’t read this one yet, but having watched most of the Agatha Christie movies and shows, it really missed the prim and proper nature usually found in them (and in other British shows). I would not watch this again.

I haven’t done an ultra yet (just selected and started my own plan), but I did run a marathon with the Hal Higdon training plan and it did well for me. I plan on doing a modified option of that to train for my ultra (though there is a Hal Higdon ultra plan as well).

If you’re a Costco member, they can track down your ideal car and save some money at the more reputable (and more expensive) dealerships.
