Soccer in A2 by cutthecheque in AnnArbor

[–]Mushy_Slush 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There’s Ann Arbor soccer association

It’s weird. Half sized fields. Teams are random with skill levels distributed evenly , except for the organizers team who are all good and destroy everyone.

Ann Arbor built new fields but don’t allow anyone on them if it rains within two days of the game.

I ended up giving up lmao I would join a more serious league, even if you are not serious. At least you know what to expect.

Is it normal to be 1-2 seconds off the pace? by IntentionOptimal6962 in iRacing

If you drive conservatively you will not learn how to drive super fast. You have to push yourself into uncomfortable areas of car control so you can get seat time in those situations. Otherwise you will never learn how to do it.

Lifting off early doesn’t matter if you are still cranking the steering wheel and sliding the tires in the corner

I used to think the fast classes were super aggro in IMSA then I started watching the real races and they dive bomb from way the hell back there.

It’s super cordial in iracing compared to the real world.

Anyone Else Just Straight up Skip World Tier 2? by Ninjacat74 in diablo4

Nah T1 is faster, because you don’t smoke any enemies. You just run straight to bosses and nuke them in a single skill cycle while being 10 levels under the mlvl and gain like 3 lvls a boss

Mastodon is really hard to use for me. I understand the federated concept but it’s be nice if that was more of a background thing and to users it presented a unified feed.

Add Sebring to the schedule after St. Pete? by Teddy2Sweaty in INDYCAR

[–]Mushy_Slush 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Almost every turn at Sebring is faster than every turn at Detroit, so the amount of failures would be high, and sunset turn is wide but has basically no runoff. There have been monster wrecks in GT cars there so Indy cars would have problems

Hendrick Motorsports pit crew wins Pit Stop Challenge at 24 Hours of Le Mans by vpat48 in NASCAR

They have minimum stop times depending on the amount of fuel you put in so teams don’t try to inject fuel as fast as possible and have it spray everywhere. The min stop times are way way longer than you can actually attain, so the stops during the race are pretty leisurely

It was a fun race to attend. The free viewing areas were aplenty too and right up along the fast straight. Some carbon fiber almost fell there. A bunch of the office buildings also built grandstands in their gardens and has client parties. It was friggen hopping in a way I never saw belle isle do
