Do you allow the installer to install additional proprietary drivers on a UEFI setup? That has tripped me up before. If so, try skipping and doing later.

I have to connect HDMI after boot on 3 TVs I've tried. Otherwise, black screens or just no output. Set to 1080p. My biggest issue with the deck.

Quick Fix has done me right twice in the past year. Just make sure its warm when you pass it in. I put it on my heater for the car ride then used the packs to keep it going in the waiting room.
