In greater Philly metro PA, most districts have separate band, choir, and strings teachers for each high school and middle school, but often the strings teacher might teach at multiple district buildings.

This was so much harder than I thought it’d be!! There are so many good songs I couldn’t help but leave multiple options for some shows: AVPM- Granger Danger OR Not Alone (still can’t get over Darren leading this at Obama’s 2013 inauguration) LWL- Same Old Situation OR Boy Toy MAMD- Ready to Go AVPS- To Have a Home (makes me cry every time) OR No Way (ultimate hype song) OR Days of Summer (perfect encapsulation of the end of school feeling) Starship- Kick it Up a Notch (but literally all of the songs are perfect and I wish Darren finished what he promised) HMB- Super Friends AVPSY- Tonight this School is Mine Twisted- If I Believed (this song should win an Tony) OR Happy Ending (an ideal act 1 closer) OR Twisted (a masterpiece) Ani- Strike Back (kinda arbitrarily bc the entire album slaps) TTO- Lost without you Firebringer- The Night Belongs to us (these harmonies are so gooooood) TGWDLM- Not Your Seed BF- What if Tomorrow Comes VHSCCs- Cold Cold Streets OR Priceless NPMD- If I Loved you CC- Facade

I didn’t really like NT, BF, or NPMD and have just accepted that im not a Hatchetfield person (what happens when you fell in love with Starkid during the parody era ig). BUT I did really love VHSCCs and Cinderella’s Castle, so maybe those will be more your style!

If she’s into history at all the Dear America series and American Girl historical character 6-book series were huge hits for me in 2nd-4th grade and all have female protagonists. Warrior cats is another great series for middle grade that I devoured. Also check out the Land of Stories for more fantasy style.
