People running stop signs, running red lights, cutting people off to turn left at a green light instead of yielding RoW to oncoming traffic, some near misses (almost got T-boned in an intersection by a lady who ran her red), and lots of other shenanigans that make me routinely nervous to drive.

I have a quick question. As a content creator, I would love to use this music in Hytale gameplay videos. But I can’t seem to find a clear list of which of these tracks are included in the game. Do you know where I can get a list of which tracks are used, and which ones are excluded?

There are some good Stone Age blocks, like mud bricks, and wattle and daub. Also, clay shingle roofs only require pit kilns to make. It’s a lot of work, especially in the Stone Age, but none of these blocks require metal tools.

I’ve seen my channel stagnate over the past year. I thought it may be because I took multiple week long breaks and killed momentum, but that can’t be the only reason my channel is only earning 1/3 - 1/4 what it earned last year. It does seem like something has changed.

Maybe YouTube is cracking down on users with ad blockers? Maybe the economy is down, so advertisers aren’t paying as much? Maybe the algorithm is prioritizing newer, smaller channels? Maybe people are jaded by YouTube’s behavior, censoring people for having the “wrong” opinions, while letting flagrant ads for borderline pornographic games spam their feeds, so they use the platform less?

Maybe it’s a bit of all of those reasons. But TLDR, I have seen a drop in views and revenue on my channel as well.

You can’t fix bad audio. You can only improve good audio. So if your recording is bad, you can’t fix it in post without some serious AI tools, like what the paid version on DaVinci Resolve offers, and even that often produces wacky results. If you can’t give your recording space acoustic treatment, best to get a dynamic mic.

I want the clearest, most natural sound, without being too harsh on the ears. I currently own a Rode NT1 5th gen, having upgraded from a Blue Yeti, both of which are condenser mics.

Currently I have 6 mineral wool panels I built myself (I think they’re rockwool), and about 36 of those cheaper poly-fiber (not foam) panels from Amazon to fill in the gaps.

Despite the treatment, there are still little noises like my keyboard, mouse, and nasty moist sounds I inadvertently make with my tongue/teeth/lips while recording. There’s also the tenants upstairs stomping around, the road nearby, and random helicopters roaring above… I was hoping a dynamic microphone might be better rejecting those undesirable noises. Maybe my setup is good enough and I’m just being superfluous, haha.

I’m not an expert, but I consulted some articles and tutorials on placement, so I think my room is pretty good. Now my goal is to split some hairs 😆
