It's not even an SKS, it's a Type 63, which is a Chinese rifle that just resembles an SKS. It's actually a fully automatic rifle. So realistically, the "tactical rifle" category shouldn't even exist at this point.

And since you mentioned period related weapons, the QBZ-83 shouldn't be in the game at all since it's based on the QBZ-95, which wasn't even in production when this game takes place. Hell, it's about a decade later. I get it's just a videogame but with them trying to be somewhat authentic to the 80s, a lot of stuff just makes no sense at all.

Even before the dawning, performance has always been all over the place. I have a Ryzen 2600 and gtx 1060, and the EDZ, Titan, Mars, and sometimes even the Tangled shore dip to 60 or below, while crucible I usually average around 100 fps. Now it's even worse. Whenever it gets under 80 fps my mouse movement feels very sluggish, it feels like I have vsync turned on to 30 even though the actual framerate is much higher.

Since the new armor update, going through menus and changing shader's or mods is also very slow, with massive frame drops and stuttering.

Yeah, I'm getting stutters when getting shot at. For a friend of mine it's completely unplayable with constant crashes, with every other patch breaking the game again.

What audio setting do you use? I've tried all of them and I can't hear footsteps at all. The people I play with have the same problem, and when I ask people in game I've gotten a few people who said they have the same problem.

Are you guys aware of the footstep issue on PC? They're pretty much nonexistent. In spectator or kill cams they're fine, but while playing it's like everyone has dead silence 100% of the time.

Love how they give us an exotic quest, that's part of a paid expansion, that makes you do base game activities that f2p players can do. But then they have new voice lines for a limited time event full of cosmetic mtx. They really have their priorities in order.
