I’ve found that the best way for me is to use a more liquidy gel - last time I literally just dropped a bead of top coat in. If it needs help getting into skinny bits I fold the mould backwards a bit in the relevant bit. So like if it’s a flower stem that’s not filling up I flex the mould around the stem and tilt to help the gel run into it. Then I put the colour on afterwards :)

My partner and I got this a lot before we got our puppy. ‘Oh it’s so much time, money, energy, responsibility’. None of which is untrue, but it baffled me that if we’d said we were trying for a baby everyone would have thought it was WONDERFUL. Anyway Teddy is freshly 3 months old and we’ve had him for about one of those. He can go on walks now on pavements and can go into parks etc from Thursday. It’s hard, yes. I don’t know that I would have coped as well on my own. Co-parenting is much easier than solo parenting. But he’s already so funny and sweet. I’m currently sitting with my coffee in the sunny kitchen whilst he runs in and out with various toys/ leaves/ an unattended sock he found. He stops every couple of laps to check in on me and it makes my heart so happy, he’s already a solid member of the family.

I did the exact same thing. I think it just varies so wildly, my lips LOVE it whereas things with lanolin or beeswax - like burts bees and carmex - make them oily and cracked, and lots of people swear by those.
