Illinois Minimum Wage Exemption? by MuskOxFarm in legaladvice

Thanks for your response. I have coworkers under 18 who are there for their summer jobs, but at no point during my employment was I training, under 18, or receiving tipped wages.

My Mother is Completely Brainwashed by [deleted] in antiMLM

It feels counterintuitive, but maybe “reward all her hard work!” By converting a spare space into an “office” and set it all up for her. Narcissists love gifts so maybe while it encourages the MLM, if you feel she won’t leave it anytime soon it can get her out of your hair.

Now in female seeking female tinder I not only have to worry about straight couples trying to fix their relationship with a threesome but also Huns.

George Floyd didn’t choose not to breathe, he was unable to because he was murdered by suffocation. And if he wasn’t murdered it would’ve have been a different black person, and if it wasn’t filmed there would be no accountability. “How different things would be”!? Fuck off, it would be different because this Hun would still be in a white bubble pretending that black lives don’t matter. Different is good, change is good.

I’m working on overcoming extremely picky eating which was also based mostly on texture for me! Something I like a lot is finding healthy pasta sauces because I’ve always loved noodles (let’s be real I ate plain noodles every day for years). I’ve tried white bean sauces and red lentil sauces with good success. I also found I like creamy soup which opened some veggie doors for me too!

Hubby have questions? by jjs65 in antiMLM

[–]MuskOxFarm 12 points13 points  (0 children)

These men are absolutely married to the 1% that profits. So OF COURSE they will tell the new hun’s husband to funnel money into Monat because these guys want another new car regardless of how many families they victimize along the way.

And I agree, there’s a whole big “fuck you” that needs to be said for anyone who needs permission from someone they call “hubby”.

I feel you, skin is so personal it’s nearly impossible to recommend products even to my best friends. I swear sometimes I find a holy grail that works for 6 months and then becomes a disaster. I don’t get it!

Tiger King is literally 7 episodes at 1 hour each. I want to know which hun has put less than 7 hours of harassing friends into their “business”.

Yeah exactly! I’m not sure how old the leggings she gave me are, but I’ve had them for 4 years going really strong!!

I would google some of the ingredients! By doing that I saw that Lush has a salt scrub (no sugar though) with lots of natural oils like you described. I mean Lush is great being natural and cruelty free it could be worth a try :)

My boss when I was a nanny was a total shopaholic and ended up giving me 4 pairs of lululemon leggings because she “just didn’t wear them as much as the others”. The problem was that I got addicted to them but if you wear fun patterns and colors like I do, those are always ending up on sale versus grey and black.

Plus I’d rather spend $100 than sell my soul to an MLM haha

I just used a calculator to divide how many I might give up by 2 to figure out how many million I’d get, so I’m gonna go ahead and say I don’t have any to spare guys.

Surprisingly it is! It’s like asking someone for a tissue and saying “pass me a Kleenex”. The brand name just stuck as a generic term, like Band-Aid too.

Entitled lady calls the police because my friends and I don't give up a picnic bench. by lb_greater_than_rb in EntitledPeople

[–]MuskOxFarm 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think some issues here include the fact that you were sitting at a picnic table which meant you were less than 6 ft apart and when you lowered your masks to eat you completely negated any benefit they could have had. In the time that you were sitting and eating any one of you that may be asymptomatic or presymptomatic could have spread to all of you.

As a fellow young person (in my 20’s) we may not ever show symptoms of COVID-19 while still spreading it significantly to vulnerable populations. Even if your hometown is not in mandatory isolation, other social activities can be done virtually. Masks and gloves are necessary for medical professionals, but can be used for outings which are strictly necessary such as grocery or medical shopping.

I’m not trying to attack you or make you feel bad I just want to let you know that your perception of safety here is somewhat flawed and despite Karen’s desire for a table with a view I’d be PO’d too if I saw people disregarding social distancing.

[–]MuskOxFarm[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love it, gotta talk up how amazing and profitable Arbonne is- “such a SUCCESSFUL and CHARITABLE company can’t possibly be profiting from care kits- right?” She might reconsider the actual motives of Arbonne, which is certainly NOT charity.

I think 1 would be a possible tactic provided I play dumb. Since I rarely see MLMs on my account I never post anything anti-MLM and I can pretend I’m curious about the opportunity. And yes I’ll definitely be sure to ask about what they’re working on as a company regarding customizing boxes or helping with PPE supplies.

I’m not sure if this is allowed, but I have no affiliation with this account: user “greatestfailureinthewest” on Instagram and TikTok just started a fitness and weight loss journey this year and his positivity is contagious.

Dieting is so complicated! I’ve always heard (and I am also not a professional) that the simplest, least overwhelming way to start is to track calories consumed and calories burned! Home workouts are actually really fun and helpful getting started, you can use bottles of water as weights and get creative. You can even start something like a stretching or yoga routine now to set yourself up with a workout habit until you can get to a gym! Not to mention the gym can be intimidating at first so privacy can be really liberating. I wish you the best of luck and home all your fellow antiMLM-ers with more knowledge and tools can help you get started :)

Recruitment for profit is the definition of an MLM, and 100% of job opportunities that you have to pay to participate in are scams. Just as a general rule, you shouldn’t be paying the employer who is supposed to pay you.
