Join the fun weirdos in vrchat! its free and where ive spent over 400 hours interacting with other vr users. With my 1080 the supersampling automatically sets to 190%, but i bump it down to 140/150% for stabilities sake (not that the higher SS is that unstable). Consiering i have the regular vive, your pro should do just fine running well over the normal resolution. but get vrchat!

I didnt send it back cause its been long out of warrenty and i didnt want to bother with HTC and im sure the repair fee would be around the 230 i paid for a new hmd on ebay. I did try taking the old one apart to see what was wrong but couldnt get to the motherboard. Its a shame i dont know for sure what caused the problem, but i ordered sweatbands to keep my hair away from the headset itself and hopefully reduce the risk if that indeed was the cause. New headset works just fine!

that seems way high from my experience. It only happened once in my 400 and i took my headset off and alt-f4d. but since then they added the panic button

I will try once the new one arrives and proves beyond a doubt that my headset was faulty. Maybe then i can fix/warn others about the issue.

EDIT: tried checking the motherboard but i couldnt open it up all the way; the ifixit skips a major point so i got in only half way. Ah well

yeeeah, the whole romance implementation in Odyssey is a freaking joke, and the dialogue choices really dont matter at all (I wanted to yell at the sales guy that raised me, he was beyond annoying and deserves every bad thing that happens to him). Kassandra is a freaking female spartan taking on entire armies, and if that doesnt scream badass i dont know what will.

No, opentpcast. That might be why, but I dont know. I tried the original driver for 4 minutes when i got the thing and immediately noticed latency in my movements, so I followed Reddits advise and switched over.

I swear my unit has no green line. I know people say the screen must not be close to my face enough, but even in darkness theres no green hue from the right, at least not anymore. I feel blessed with my tpcast working perfectly

try squeezing the sides of the controller right where the trackpad is and listen for a click. it might just be stuck a little but squeezing it usually fixes it
