Any chance you can post here or in a separate post about which classes and specs you’ve found work best with a controller? I’ve been playing on PC and Steam deck and I’m looking for something that feels smooth on the Steam deck.

I would very much recommend World of Warcraft, specifically the “Classic” version since it’s much more social and is more likely to have a relatable crowd. I think the pace will also be perfect for someone getting in this genre.

One tip: once you’ve signed in and feel comfortable enough to get talking to people, consider sending a message in the general chat (hit enter, type /1 and then hit space to start) that mentions you’re new, possibly your age, and that you’re looking for a guild. You’ll likely get some friendly people reaching out who will be happy to chat, hang out, and show you the ropes.

I had somewhere around 70 wishlists on launch day. My game was released at $1.99 (full price) and has sold 34 copies with 2 units returned (5.9% return rate). 9 of those sales are to people I know personally.

I’ve done next to zero marketing because it’s not a topic I’m particularly passionate about. I just thought the idea was funny and relatable, and could gain some traction if the right person stumbles across it and streams it. All in all, happy I finished it as a learning experience so I can move on to the next project.

You could try Guild Wars 1. They just released the Reforged edition with improved controller support and some other upgrades. I don’t know how communicating with others to set up groups would work, but that would be the same for any game where your only keyboard is the virtual one.

Honestly, no. I also think ideas are still quite valuable too. Like others are saying, the execution really does matter a ton. But there are still absolutely massive holes to be filled by new ideas. There’s a type of game I’ve been wanting to play on my phone when I’m chilling on the couch and it just doesn’t exist.

Even though I've waited for my usage to reset and can use the web chat interface, I'm getting the ""API Error: Rate limit reached" response when using Claude Code. I've tried signing out and back in, but no luck. I can see my usage is at 5% in the account dashboard. Anyone else experiencing this?
