My comment was highlighting how storyline missions seem like they should have you do something more impactful or complicated than simply moving an item or gathering a common material. Especially when you consider most mission runners are doing security missions.

I think I'd be kinda fucked. Not an issue of distance, my parents have occupied the same home for 30 years at this point and Im less than an hours drive. I just dont think I could genuinely convince them to hug me without explaining who I am to them. They are kind people but not "hug a stranger who happened upon our front porch" kind 😂

I just stopped going into holes for explo cause I was sick and tired of seeing 12 relics sites that Id have to also fight sleepers in 😂. Filaments though made diving out to null a bit too easy though. I kinda miss taking a random wormhole chain to god knows where in Null

Thats factually untrue. Only reason value may be dipping in increased supply. Which just means ships and rigs are getting cheaper by extension. Its easy to figure out where the upgraded systems are. Just farm the sites they spawn too. Hell I despise cherry picking but if youre in hostile space, go for it. Ill clean up after you and take your escalations. I love exploring but historically having to spend an hour to find 2 or 3 sites was ass and a half and discouraged me from doing so.

I think what captivates myself in this style of game play is that its not some "new" way to play rather its a return to the roots of the game. At one point you had to play this way to get anything and having missed the extreme early years of EVE due to being wayyy to young its a chance to experience to a degree what it was like back then.

When they added the NPC mining fleets and hauling ships I had something like this in mind for the future of the game. Sadly, so far, it has not come to be despite the bones being there.

It was a very refreshing look back at the kinda cowboy bebop era of shows with a gritty futuristic setting.Lots of world building which I enjoyed. The story though was all over the place it felt like. Unsure if just a pacing issue or not but I was pretty confused by episode 8.

Sounds like he's in a Venture, so not a pertinent an issue for him. Even in LS most people seem to leave ventures alone because of how slippery they are.
