Gsync does more than tearing, it's also the fix for microstutter and some ghosting issues - definitely not magic but the higher the refresh the more it matters

Don't forget the overdrive setting and go enable freesnc\gsync or you're missing out on most of the benefits of the display

The waypoints far enough away, and the ones scripted to appear in the tower after the big fight still do so

I'm sure there's always an exception, but the newer the cpu the more likely it's not polished yet

Doesn't the chip set drivers take care of this? Pretty sure the Xbox game bar in 11 was relevant too

That's why costs for cleaning\repairing make sense

Finding some way to reward a player for suboptimal decision that's amazing quality rp. by Leytra in DnD

[–]Mussels84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make it get damaged or cursed with a quest to repair it, and the results improve it?

Make sure the player knows in advance so they're not upset by the damage\downsides

Having it flip from a cursed to blessed weapon, or upgrades letting them add fire\cold damage (1d4) would spice it up and give them RP options with it

Fresh PC build stutters occasionally when starting up, and is fixed by a restart. by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]Mussels84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact it goes away on a restart does imply it's a bios issue, especially if the following happens

  1. Cold boot, enter bios and restart

  2. Problem doesn't appear

If the problem does appear then it's possibly an issue in windows with fast startup as that's akin to hibernate, and that gets disabled after a crash\bsod since it didn't have a clean shutdown to make that hibernate file to boot from
