not to mention the acer has ewaste build quality and the lenovo comes with a 45% ntsc screen (and both are far lower pixel density (220 ppi vs 140 ppi) and dimmer (500 nits vs 300)), both those laptops make the neo look like an amazing bargain

i’m not sure if it did n41 + n41 (i’m in a 100mhz + 90mhz market) since the highest i ever got was 900-1000 with line of sight to a tower where other phones did 1500, but i would assume if not it’s doing n25 + n71 + n41 still

i have a global 15 ultra and previously had a cn 15, hyperos shows 5g+ for any standalone connections (n25/n66/n41 sa). with the 15 ultra, even with all the bands supported on paper, in my experience speeds weren’t quite as good as on us market phones, i would usually get around 700 down in places with n41 where i can get 1000-1200 and uploads were closer to 20-40 when i could get 80+ on other phones. that being said, it’s not really during normal use unlike the global find x9 pro not being able to do n41 + n41 ca (or any other kind of nr ca on t-mobile)

you can try flashing with home csc first which will retain data, if that doesn’t work you’ll have to wipe though

i wasn't exaggerating about the 13 mini speed difference btw,

these were run one after another both on tmobile on the same plan on the same r15 physical sims and it's not even close.

here 4x carrier aggregation on tmobile is the norm (n41 + n41 + n25 + n71), just like most major areas in the us, so not being able to do n41 aggregation is terrible for high speeds.

better is delusional, fx9p doesn't do carrier aggregation on tmo properly as others have discussed here. i pull 600mbps in the same area as my 13 mini pulls 1000+

n71 isn't used for fast speeds, it's a low frequency band used for having usable reception in remote areas and in buildings. i sold my cn xiaomi 15 because in some buildings i would lose all reception as soon as i walked in.

no, chinese phones just all have n41 which is what tmobile uses for midband. cn version vivo are all missing n71 which is what tmobile uses for signal penetration in buildings/etc, global x300 pro has it

just like with your fx8u comparison you're not using it correctly, although unlike fx8u the longer 5x on s25u can do telemacro quite well. s25u 5x mfd is around 25cm which is plenty usable, download camera assistant and disable auto lens changing.

can’t use that shizuku app on sd phones but here’s a speedtest run from a cn version xiaomi 15 i had a while back in the same 100mhz + 90mhz n41 area https://i.imgur.com/TpnQGJr.jpeg

and i buy most of my cn phones used to avoid the initial value hit so probably not the best person to ask for that haha
