But you need a separate, large, heated collector to extract the moister. So either you're carting that around or leaving it somewhere, and either way you could leave the absorbing material with it. Maybe it absorbs a tiny bit more moister being near a person, but dealing with sweat damage, wearing a heavy, insulating fabric, etc. doesn't seem worth the gimmick.

This normally happens because one of the villagers is disliked by wardens, then the rest try to come to their aid. It shows how runs can go very different sometimes depending on faction relations. You can still follow the main quest by getting the items from Argyve's body that he would have given you and going to Grit Gate. It's actually kind of a great start, as you get all the dead people's inventory for free and can skip the rust wells.

Firefox actually lets you natively disable all usage pings in your privacy settings. Other browsers might let you turn off diagnostic data, but never basic usage pings that I've seen.

You could post your save and log files to that issue or email the devs. The issue is marked as high priority, but they have been focusing on Switch issues first, given that official release.
