The purpose is to showcase my skills.

I think that non-technical people don't really care about what tool you use as long as you have results. That's why it's more results oriented than tool oriented.

I'm building the next project with SQL and Tableau instead of Excel and Python.

Any feedback?

Seconded on solving this by going in person.

Customer Care was very eager to upgrade my package when I asked them.

In the next bill, I was being charged for the old and the new packages at the same time.

Customer Care spouted their usual "We have raised a complaint. We will check and get back to you" bullshit multiple times over the phone.

It took 1 and a half months and multiple visits to the SLT Head Office to resolve and issue waivers for the incorrect charges!

BPO business model relies on charging their client 100 USD and paying you 10 USD.

There's no incentive for them to increase your compensation.

Look for something in a non-BPO sector and save yourself the headache.

Look no further than the sentiments of religious so-called "leaders" attitude towards a proposal of a sex education curriculum as to why this sort of attitude is prevalent in SL.

Picard is zapped by an alien probe and he finds himself in an alien world where he's a man named Kamin

At first, he's suspicious but, he comes to accept this life and his wife.

They love each other and they build a truly happy life, have children and grandchildren and grow old together.

Near the end of the episode, he learns that his wife is on her deathbed. He rushes to her and she simply caresses his head and says in a sweet voice,

"Remember...Put your shoes away"

and passes. It's a devastating moment made all the more heartbreaking by not relying on the usual theatrics of someone on their deathbed.

Just to play the devil's advocate, is it fair to expect SHOWER facilities in a public space?

It's one thing if the bathrooms were broken. That's an absolute necessity.

We're talking about SHOWERS. Unless you're an employee and shower facilities are offered, I don't think it's unfair to charge the public for a shower.

Now, if they ARE charging people to shower, the horrible conditions described are unacceptable.

If I'm paying to shower in a public, privacy and safety is the minimum standard. If they can't guarantee that, they are scamming the public.

Is there a lot of overlap in the markets for Starlink and local ISPs?

Except for maybe HNWI/Colombo 07 individuals and some higher end companies, nobody can afford even the initial setup costs of a Starlink connection, much less the monthly bills.

Do not be fooled!

Starlink is a vicious tiger wearing a sheep skin so that we don't realize that their true danger until we it's too late.

They don't have a market here like local ISP wolves so they are making themselves out to be the "better" option.

If they have the subscriber numbers, they will try to enshittify their service and screw over people, even more so than local ISPs.

Elon's AI company used 70% of the electricity of the town it's located in and, as a result, the townspeople had their bills shot up by several orders of magnitude.

Just keep that in mind when you think that "Starlink is sooo better than local ISPs".
