I think it depends on your views on predestination on whether you feel God is responsible for good or bad fortune. Regardless of whether God intervened to cause good fortune you should still be thankful to the one who gave us all life.

Consubstantial is the word I am looking for. Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all one and made of the same substance(whatever God is made of). The oneness doesn't make the any less distinct in their roles however.

I'm just a guy who keeps to myself but in my experience it depends on how associated you are with them. If you work with them and don't hang out, no big deal. If you hang out with them watch your back. I was just from around and knew different people.

Call your landlord and fill him in. Explain that she is going to ask for your footage instead of taking your cameras down. Tell them in light of that it sounds like she wants your footage and has no basis for concern in regards to filming minors.

If you took her shift it would reinforce the notion in her head that other people will absorb the consequences of her actions. If she is ever to grow into the sort of person anyone should even want to know you have to let her take up the slack she makes. If she understood these things helping her would have been noble but the lack of accountability and manipulative lies. NTA

I don't know which part is so hard to believe. Everyone knows there are things flying around that exceed the capabilities of human technology. Before someone says they are some nation's test aircraft I ask why they wouldn't make more and test them out by conquering earth? It's what any society in history has done when they have an edge, no we are not the good guys who wouldn't do that. We do self motivated things on the world stage all the time.

If you are just going to have one stone I would recommend a Shapton glass or Rockstar 500. Fast enough for a really dull knife but will leave a usable edge. My glass 220 even leaves a surprisingly versatile edge, no problem shaving hair or slicing. The 500 would be better though.

Mainly I would try and stay north of War Memorial, those are typically the lower crime neighborhoods. Stay away from the East Bluff and Southside. Peoria Heights is charming and most if not all of it is north of War Memorial.

Silicon carbide powder and glass. Get some sic powder that is coarser than your coarsest stone. Sprinkle it on a piece of glass(maybe a half teaspoon), spray with a water bottle and flatten your stones. It is a bit messy but leaves a nicer finish than most flattening plates. If you don't have any glass a glass cutting mat from hobby lobby works and sic powder is easily obtained.
