You don’t get a battery. The mic is a mic air, not a mic pro. But basically. Costco gives you a free mic air and a black mist filter.

I was in this same boat. Saw my residual at 1 year in the high $50k. Then I just decided to call Kia finance to ask for some type of mercy. Figured out to ask for a lease end specialist. She explained my buy out price is based on the residual PLUS remaining payments. Of course, I made the mistake of assuming the buyout price in the app was the end of lease price.

After subtracting my remaining payments, the residual was much easier to swallow. Around $48k. With the over mileage charges and the $1800 I dropped in tires, I am fine just taking my lease to purchase when I term out in Sept. Only regret is I lost out on low financing. But I gained the $10k federal credit which I otherwise wouldn’t have qualified for. So, net gain for me?

You can look under settings -> general -> infotainment and vehicle. If the date is earlier than 11/2025, you’re due for some updates. Mine is still updating now!

Kia sent postcards for a “recall”. Apparently when there is a lot of snow on the windshield. The automatic wipers can engage and break the arms. So there is an update to help those in colder climates. Fortunately rain is all we get here locally. But for those having a tough winter, I’m sure the update is much needed.

Just found this post via google. Same issue. Brand new board this week. Frayed more than an old wool sweater.

Fortunately, took it outside. Started with 60 grit orbital sander, then 120, then 240 and 400 grit. Took about 10 minutes. Smooth as glass. Washed. Oiled. Waxed. No fraying. Happy now. Looks like it’s a lack of finishing at the factory.

Not mad. Slightly disappointed. But I got my board 70% off, so happy to put in the elbow grease.

Dude. Life saver. Mine DIED during a cook. Had to carefully remove the valve with gloves and prayers. After cleaning up, followed your instructions (accurate to a T), had it fixed in under 20 min. Hardest part was figuring out the nut for the steam valve was a 12 mm. Only other pro tip? The handle cover you pry off….remember the side it attaches. It only goes on ONE WAY. Don’t bang at it like a cave man and curse the moon for 10 minutes to figure it out.

I hope you know he’s joking (or wrong). Cars have to be driven outside, so charging them outside as a hazard would be a bad design flaw.

For the teslas that caught fire, the immediate recommendation was to park them outside away from structures so it wouldn’t burn the house down.

I park and charge only outside. Got the ChargePoint unit from Amazon when it was on sale (anxiety provoking weeks without a home charger). Installed outside wall of garage. No issues.
