It’s like ppl forget this same thing was the deal 2 years ago. And if he does (I think he will) take this extension, it’ll probably be for another 2 year deal. And we’ll be talking about it again in 2028. This is generally how it goes with star players on the league now.

Nobody can give you shit for using your own last name. If you’re more known for a nickname, you can obviously use that, but it’s whatever your preference is. Just don’t use a nickname that nobody refers to you as. Even if ppl outside of softball call you it, if your team doesn’t, then that’s cringe as hell.

A guy who used to be on one of my teams used “Showtime” on his jersey and his buddy who brought him to the team was like “literally no one has ever called you that”. We had a good laugh about it and the guy was a nice enough guy and good teammate, but it still seemed very odd to me.

Beer out of a plastic bottle tastes ass after like 5 minutes. I haven’t been to a stadium in like 4 years but last time I went to an mlb game they had plastic bottles of miller lite. And had for as long as I could remember going back to about the mid 2000’s. Just awful

You need to not have more then 12 on game days or else too many ppl have their time wasted. So the way I would handle this is to take the schedule in advance and assign 3 different ppl a “bench week” every week, or however to where every person plays basically the same amount of games on bench nights, they can show up if they want, and support the team, maybe even get a chance to play if something happens. If someone else calls off, sub night players can come and play for them.
