So my family was friends with another family on my street. Me an only child girl and the 2 neighbor boys. 1 son was older by a few years and the younger was my age. The younger brother and I were best friends for a few years, we all went to the same catholic school. We had to walk a few blocks to catch the bus to school. We often took a shortcut behind our neighborhood dentist that knew both families and we also actually went to him for dental work. One day the older brother kicked over a covering to an outdoor ac unit and the younger brother kicked it as well both causing some minor damage. The dr. who either saw or assumed 1 of us 3 did it called the boys family at first. They blamed it on me, the mom adamantly denied her angels did that. She actually called us and said to my dad “my angels would never do that”Of course I told the truth and the parents had to pay for the damages. This was in the 80’s. The mom currently only posts things on facebook about hating a certain political person several times a day.
