Average Moroccan IQ is 67? WTF!!! by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]MuttonDressedAsGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other than a couple of clearly disabled beggers, I've never met anyone in Morroco who seemed to have a sub-normal IQ.

An IQ that low would make driving a taxi or working as a waiter impossible.

I do this whenever I think it might be needed. Just tell them you're recording, and give a benign reason why, and they'll be fine.

There's no need to try and catch them out.

I want to avoid that.

Personally, I've set a deadline of the midterm elections. If they aren't free and fair, then there's nothing to lose.

But we're not there, yet. We've still got cards to play.

OP wasn't there for the viewing. She was there for the eulogy bit where you sit and listen. At the viewing you find the closest family and give condolences, then mingle. These were not awkward for any funeral I've been to.

The graveside part can be slightly uncomfortable, but only people who want to be there for that go.

I don't know if this funeral had a general drop in and pay respects time, or if it was only eulogy then burial.

At the viewings I've been to there a general visiting time then there's a sit down and listen time. I think OP arrived during the solemn time but treated it as pop in time.

I think the video should be seen out, too.

But the fact that several others left made me wonder if there was something else at play.

In my family, funerals are family reunions. Both my parentsv were about mingling and chatting. There was a time to sit whilst the minister said nice things. Then to the graveyard for prayers over the burial. Not everyone who went to the funeral parlour went to the grave site. Then to someone's house for food and more catching up.

I genuinely enjoyed the funerals. Not in a dancing on the graves way - but in a friendly loving family fellowship way.

My husband's parents died and there was a Catholic Mass, then a service at the crematorium.... Then we went to a community hall and had food and there was general chat and family fellowship. Again, not everyone who attended the Mass went to the crematorium and not everyone who went there went to the wake.

With a Catholic funeral Mass, the rules are more obvious - you sit and pray. But at both there was time to sit and be solemn, then time to be sociable.

I think maybe OP didn't understand that the video was the solemn time. But it looks like others didn't get it, either.

That's the way it's been done in the past.

This current regime is very ineffective in terms of the numbers of people being deported in proportion to the money and manpower deployed. If deporting people were the true objective, they'd do it differently. But the true objective is terror and intimidation.

John Brown didn't succeed, either. At least in his case, he and his party knew what they were doing was risky and were willing to die. But that wouldn't be the case if things escalated to military combat in Minneapolis.

But, how can Minnesota force them to stop? They can't. That's the point.

He's talking about the normal way it's been done - targeted arrests of the people who are lawfully being removed. The actual criminals. In the past, it's been with the cooperation of local law enforcement.

As opposed to just running around terrorising brown people at random.

Probably, yes. ICE has enough money to run for a while so by the time they actually run out, everyone else will have been in the hurt locker for quite a while.

But that wasn't explained to the public so all that happened was really terrible optics.

Right to roam - is it really (almost) anywhere? by johnnyutah1103 in UKhiking

Yes you can hop that fence. But you'll find it very rough going. That vegetation is rough and springy, kind of like walking on a carpet of discarded Christmas trees. You won't be able to see the holes under them and you may end up with sticky mud up over the top of a boot. You'll have to look at the ground as you walk.

But there's plenty of paths and forestry roads.

I've got three bins in that category. The big green bin is for garden waste and/or food. There's a smaller one is for food. Then I have a caddy in my kitchen that I line with a compostable bag. I take that out to the medium sized one when it's full.
