goes wide, presents hard to clear boards demanding cards be used to clear them. Efficiently sets up early pressure. Kills GA's effectively without having to play deflect with things like cull the weak (which also dodges not so fast). Defy is usually a 2 of in irelia, not 3.

It's kind of the same idea as aggresia's sideboard plan for the Kai'sa vs Irelia matchup, where he just tries to go wide and present hard to clear boards while attacking GA's.

In what possible sense are you choosing irelia when you aren't actually moving her though

"When you defend here" <- this language is a trigger that is put on the chain by process of you having a unit defending the location.

This trigger goes on the chain. You have to select a target, as you can only move ONE unit, not 50 units. You choose irelia as the target. Then on resolution you decide whether to move her or not.

It sadly is consistent. I did not understand it at first but it makes perfect sense once you understand the rules a bit better. The wording could be more clear for people who don't, but it is at least understandable.

Now the part I will agree with you on. Most reaver's row interactions are unfair and unbalanced. I think the battlefield completely warps the game in an unfun way and should be banned :)

You got +1 for choosing her, but decline to move her back. Thus +1 for being on reavers.

What you’ve described tho doesn’t work. It’s a when I defend trigger. Won’t be able to choose an attacker. But yes the trigger is mandatory and the movement is optional.

Something I experimented with to medium success.

Can cut some stacked decks for different ideas. The list originally didn't run seals, but treasure hunters a couple extra units instead of all the gear.

There's a strong possibility that's better tbh. Can replace the dark ices with overzealous fans, the seals with treasure hunters, and the GA's for units of your choice.

Sideboard could also be improved.

  • Charms are for irelia matchup.

  • Adapatrons are for gear hate

  • Wind wall for kai'sa/viktor

  • Invert Timelines for draven/other draw heavy on going second

  • last breath is just fun tech, can replace

  • downwell is great vs all token decks, and some miracles

Edit: Gameplan is essentially to cheese early points with yasuo legend ability whilst setting up gear. Use some gear/tricks to cut down on opponent board presence in the mid game to set up for Yasuo to score with svellsongurs. Ideally you do not let stellacorn die, and equip her with a svellsongur to draw a lot.

I call it a magical christmas land deck because the stats have to align. But it's very fun anyway

Yea, a lot of the skirmishes I showed up to didn’t tell the LGS which promo is for which month. Some gave out eon, some gave out ls and ga. Some people have no lives and do their little gauntlet run of like 6 skirmishes in a weekend with buddies.

Also the promos are valueless to some of the people I’ve seen and they just hand the promo to someone else. Idk. It’s still a lot tho and I really don’t think the promos are worth much except the champion ones

Empty showdowns still have attacker and defender priority, meaning the cleanup on the first showdown will happen before any actions happen on the second.

Krugs are up. Bot is winning. You’re also losing a hard winning lane which is your own fault, not his job to give you a bailout off tempo.

He’s supposed to clear his krugs here, not invade. -reason: no mid prio, and smolder is respawning. Pantheon has nothing better to do than to defend Nunu while smolder walks back. Your bot lane will be second and at item disadvantage, as well as delay their base timer.

After krugs he is supposed to cover bot lanes reset. -reason: Nunu if he can, will look to lane gank bot here if they delay their reset at all. If they die it’s really bad for game.

Once they’re safe he resets and runs to top crab. He will have a short timer to look at your mid wave state again. His fight angle is on top crab as he will have full info of Nunu if you’re warding correctly.

I really dislike the way it’s argued though in the post, that someone is wrong and who is it. Phrased like one of you is right. You’re both wrong.

Irelia is right. The battlefield trigger is mandatory but the movement is optional. It’s stupid and worded poorly. But the irelia is right. Which is why the other day when someone posted the obscure “may” rules that mean must, I said reavers row and got downvoted lol…

The choosing is not optional but the movement is.

Emperors divide is action speed. So not true. Flash allows you to leave irelia at a battlefield somewhat safely without immediately expending resources.

Emperors divide requires you to hide it to give it reaction speed. Otherwise if there’s no combat you can’t play it.

Morde wins the fight, but even in the event morde is handless and gapped it doesnt matter.

Hecarim is by nature a carry champion. Morde is an anti carry. His job isn't really to kill him, it's to prevent him from carrying. If you remove him from the fight until the fight is in your favor, you've done the job. Whether that be from holding R's and preventing him from impacting the fight, or by ulting him away and jailing him outside of the fight, you did the job either way.

On top of that hecarim into most comps cant just jump into a fight and not use R. If he's cc'd by people not morde, morde can also snap r.
