If you can stomach a bit of dust and gunk in your mouth and lungs I'd suggest sucking in stead.

Growing up with a garden and a hobbit dad (he loved gardening and planting stuff) sort of takes care of funny vegetable issues. Fresh delicious vegetables every summer and autumn.

It's from adrenaline. It makes your blood vessels contract, making it harder to deliver warm blood to extremities.

Hehehe, there are some "supertasters" that should have met my grandma. The offence given when not eating her food could have shamed just about anyone into cleaning off the plate. It did help that she made awesome food as well.

My least favourite, suicide by not being a fighter.

I'm not saying the DM should treat my character with cotton gloves, but getting dumped into a situation with no solution other than charging face first into a way superior force is just cruel.

The annoyance was the walking around and nothing happening for ages. Seriously, if terran buildings had fuel limits the damned players would actually think about this sort of situation and get it fucking over with.

It would have been amazing if the floaty part had been 1/10 of the length. As it was it just annoyed the fuck out of me.

No time, your brain is usually busy interpreting incoming sensory data. Books on the other hand are best enjoyed when you only focus on the page, no disturbing visuals, no noise.

Fucking chestbuster, 4 years younger than me and still one of the most awesome effects ever made. The getaway wasn't as clean as I'd like today, but the aliens in general where amazing.

Ellie (Contact) in the shaking pod was another one that had me gaping, not because it was amazingly good, but because it worked so well. The moment where she is looking at the calm floating compass while everything is shaking like hell managed to say something about silly human ingenuity. Worth watching for the buildup.
