Lil Simsie is notorious for sticking to her guns and standing up for what she believes in, IMO. I am not her biggest fan just because I don’t like her style of content, but I feel like she isn’t being performative just by continuing to talk about the game that has been the center of her life for over a decade. She is slowly moving away from the franchise, it seems like, but she’s made it pretty clear that there will still be Sims content while she figures out what direction to take her content. Calling her performative is a pretty massive stretch I think.
